The only way your passengers will be able to sit back and enjoy their trip is if the seats are designed to ergonomic perfection and for many years of use be it on an extended luxury tour or a short trip through the city. We apply as much creativity and spirit of innovation when it comes to designing our coaches for barrier-free access: comfortable cinema seats and quick-release seats are smart solutions if you wish to temporarily incorporate space for a wheelchair or baby carriage. At the second entrance, integrated sliding seats will increase the number of seats, even with double-width doors. Combining a cinema seat with a sliding seat concept even enables you to quickly create room for a baby carriage. What are your special needs in terms of your coach s seating? A quick and easy solution for creating space for a stroller or baby carriage: by lifting up the cinema seat cushion and tilting the sliding seat forward, room can be created for a stroller on the platform. Mother-child seats. In the standing area available in scheduled-service coaches, comfortable fold-out seats with extra-wide room for a mother, child and stroller can be integrated in a space-saving way either to the left or the right in the direction of travel, tailored to the coach s spatial concept and door configuration. 6

For example, seat back adjustment, lateral adjustment, integrated grips or the new, patented Setra armrest: with a single action it disappears to the side below the seat without blocking the aisle. 24 Driver's and attendant's seats An ergonomically designed driver s seat minimises tension and strain, promotes mobility and ensures that the driver can concentrate on the road without fatigue. This is why Setra makes sure that driver s seats provide ideal support to drivers as they carry out their very responsible tasks. All driver s seats feature a powerful anti-vibration system and can be set to suit the driver s body contours in just a few easy adjustments. And it is possible to individualise the seats in many different ways, e.g. with a swivel feature, air conditioning, heating and your choice of material. ISRI driver s seat For the new, optional ISRI driver s seat in the 500 series, we developed our own driver s seat textile collection, with a colour and design concept that coordinates beautifully with passenger seats. The seat is equipped with an innovative height-adjustable safety belt outlet, heating and a turning gear that enables even more driver comfort. Additionally, an integrated pneumatic system not only simplifies seat adjustment but also allows the seat back contour to adjust to the driver s body shape. The Grammer seat standard equipment on all Setra coaches supports the driver perfectly. Grammer driver s seat Setra s attendant s seats Setra s folding attendant s seats are state-of-the-art in terms of ergonomics and designed for functionality and you can choose between single and double seats. The back rest can be continuously adjusted manually or electrically, and the seat can be pushed forward through two locking points at 35 or 70 millimetres. Thanks to their compact Single attendant s seat design, these seats provide more room for entering the coach, as well as for a refrigeration unit or storage compartment at the front. And when down, they offer attendants a comfortable, anatomically designed seat to work from.
