2 3/4. Raise vehicle. Remove tire only if installing Kit # 80485AB only. Save nuts for re-use in steps 7 & 9. See steps 7 & 9 Re-use bolts when installing Bumper Kits # ,80996,809744AB and 80996AB. 3 nstall Bumper Kit # or #809744AB Repeat for other side nstall bumper and align weldnuts in bracket to frame 5 holes. 6 D Q B Position bracket (item B) to align all four (4) holes. Loosely install bolts removed in step - Repeat with bracket (item C) on opposite side. 5mm 6mm Visually inspect and align bumper for best appearance. Once properly aligned, torque bolts to the following torque requirements: Factory Bolts: 48 ft-lbs (65 N.m) tem D Bolts: 85 ft-lbs (5 N.m) 7 B nstall two () bolts (item D) loosely into weldnuts in brackets (items B & C). Repeat for other side. 8 nstall Bumper Kit #80996, #80996AB and Tire Carrier Kit #80485AB Repeat for other side LH only nstall bumper and align weldnuts in bracket to frame holes. 9 0 A B Position bracket (item B) to align all four (4) holes. Loosely install bolts removed in step of 0 K

4 LH only D RH only nstall two () bolts (item D) loosely into weldnuts in brackets (items B & C). B RH only D 0mm C Position bracket (item H) to align all four (4) holes. Loosely install bolts (item ). The Pivot Post must pass through bumper top face by a minumum of 0mm. 0mm = H mm (ref only) 5mm 6mm Slowly tighten bolts to insure the Pivot Post top is 0mm above the Bumper Face and that the Bumper to Face is parallel to the Fender Flare bottom. Once bumper is adjusted, torque bolts: C H Factory Bolts: 48 ft-lbs (65 N.m) tem D Bolts: 85 ft-lbs (5 N.m) tem Bolts: 48 ft-lbs (65 N.m) 3 4 K K 5 6 Remove trim panel to access CHMSL wire harness and disconnect of 0 K

5 3mm save and re-use bolts for step 0 G Cut grommet from factory CHMSL harness and install to new CHMSL harness item G mm 3mm G U S 5 ft-lbs (0 N.m) 3mm G 7 ft-lbs (3 N.m) Connect as shown. F 9 0 nsert bolts from step 7 into exposed holes. F G Cut connector off from item G harness of 0 K

6 G Trim back insulation on two () wires of item G. Remove insulation from two wires located on body harness approximately rearward of connector. DO NOT CUT OFF BODY HARNSS CONNCTOR. xpose about of wire. Twist wires together. Solder and tape. 6mm 85 ft-lbs (5 N.m) U T R L M 0mm H O 3 Re-lubricate post. f rust is present, remove with sandpaper prior to lubrication. 4 Loosely assemble the components shown of 0 K

7 Kit # mm 0mm 4 ft-lbs (33 N.m) Adjust locking plunger to center of bumper slot. Once aligned, torque accordingly. 5 Kit # ) Pull pin up (item ). ) Slide pin ramp (item ) under latch asy. 9 Kit # AB Kit # AB Z /4 /6 35 ft-lbs (47.5 N.m) 34 ) Drop pin (item ). ) Square up ramp (item ) to bumper. 35 Y X ) nstall allen bolts (item Z) thru pin ramp (item ) and lower pin ramp (item X). ) Secure pin ramps to bumper with nuts (item Y). 9/6 9/6 F P 36 Adjust anti-vibration absorbers (item P) to lightly touch mounting plate (item F) when the tire carrier is fully latched. 05 ft-lbs (4 N.m) N 3/4 37 nstall tire to frame adaptor with nuts removed in step. 38 nsert frame adaptor (item ) with tire attached into tire carrier support (item ). Push tem into tem until the tire hits the frame of tem. Using hole in item as a template, mark this location onto item of 0 K

10 3/4 Remove frame adaptor (item ) and tire from item. Remove tire from item. 39 Drill hole here. RASON: This will compress the tire when installed and eliminate rattles. / 5/6 Measure approximately 5/6 forward from the center of the mark made in step 38. Using a drill and / drill bit, drill hole accordingly. Hole Marked in step V 8mm System is designed to compress tire slightly to eliminate vibration. 3/4 6mm 05 ft-lbs (4 N.m) T 85 ft-lbs (5 N.m) 4 Push tem into tem. Align holes accordingly and install hardware. 4 Re-install tire onto frame adaptor (item ) and torque accordingly of 0 K
