1 2014 KEYSTONE NATIONALS presented by REDLINE Derby Engines Jefferson Country Fair Brookville, PA July 19, pm start time. All roads lead to Brookville Pennsylvania on July 19, 2014 as the 6th annual Keystone Nationals will take shape. Some major changes will be taking place this year as they have restructured the total purse and payout as well as made changes to the format of the event. With the recent success of previous shows it has been transformed into a large scale national event as this coming year will be larger than ever. The new format will entertain the Limited weld class as the main focus for The rules are similar to previous years however there are a few adaptations for a more competitive atmosphere. Pre registration will be required for this event if drivers want to ensure their entry and to receive a discounted rate. The Limited weld class will be open to the first one hundred entries to be mailed in. Entry opportunities will open January 1st and run till May 1st. Entry cost within the deadline will cost $50 as that will enter both driver and car into the show. Any entry received after the May 1st deadline will move to $100. In efforts to help entertain drivers who have large travel arrangements, drivers who travel further than 350 miles to compete in the Keystone Nationals will enjoy a free entry and 2 free pit passes. To receive this discount A $50 refundable deposit must be mailed in within the Jan 1st to May 1st deadline. In addition to the Limited weld class a second class has been selected for destruction in the 6th annual Keystone Nationals. With an overwhelming popularity they have decided to run a stock class following the same rules as previous years. This class will be run on a one-shot-deal format and will be reserved for the first 20 entries. Along with the new format, a brand new pay structure has been formulated to help boost driver incentive. Keystone National promoter Bo Lockwood stated This sport is expensive! So it is up to us to make accommodations that will help curve some of the burden our drivers are faced with. The new pay structure for the Limited weld class will pay heavy on down to the last place in the feature, ensuring a large scale payout. First place is a guaranteed $5,000 a large check and trophy along with many other sponsorship opportunities.
