1 2016 General Rules All Classes All cars must be stripped and clean before arrival. No broken glass in doors. All plastic, rubber and fiberglass bumper covers MUST be removed. All vehicles MUST have working and secure DOT approved seat belts. All flammable materials, carpeting, headliners, upholstery, etc., MUST be removed. Drivers and Pit crew are responsible for the cleanup and removal off all debris from the pit area. Drivers must wear Long pants Long sleeved shirts Snell rated helmet Eye protection (full face helmet or safety googles) Close toe shoes Neck brace, gloves, leather boots, and fire suits are recommended. Doorposts may be duct taped BUT NOT until after official inspections. Compact Class is a 4 cylinder and no more than 105 wheel base. Mid-size is 6 cylinder and no full framed cars (Caprice, Crown Vic, etc.) or M-body Mopar s (Diplomat, New Yorker, etc.) The participant is responsible for loading his/her own vehicle after the derby. All participants must be over 18 or over 16 with a parents notarized permission. A 4-point floating cage (driver and passenger door bars, seat bar and dash bar) are permitted. Bars may be bolted or welded together. 4-point cage cannot be connected to the floor or the frame at any point. A vertical rollover bar maybe attached to the bar behind the seat and over the roof attached to the roof with bolts only, no welds! Hoods and trunks may be secured in 6 spots each using chain, cable, wire or up to 1 rod. Only 2 points can connect to the frame and only 2 nuts per rod. Wheel Wells- may be trimmed and bolted using up to 5, 3/8 bolts and washers per wheel well. Hood cut outs and braces- may be bolted together using up to 25, 3/8 bolts and washers per hood. After market throttles, shifters, and steering columns are permitted. Cars may replace stock bumpers with a 4 x4 x1/8 square tubes. Ends must remain open. Hard nosing is allowed but Absolutely no added metal. Implement tires are permitted. All doors may be chained in 2 spots. Chain is not to go around frame. Driver doors maybe welded. Tranny coolers will be allowed. No bead locks, weld in centers or rim protectors (except mod class.) Valve stem protectors are allowed. All Officials Decisions are FINAL!! Full Size Stock Class final draft Any American made car 2 or 4 door hardtop cars or station wagons. No 4WD, Jeeps, Carryalls, Camaros, Firebirds, or Elcomios allowed. No Imperials or 03 and newer Crown Vics, Marquis, or suicide Lincoln., 1

2 Stripping: all glass, plastic, fiberglass, and chrome moldings MUST be removed prior to arrival at facility. Station wagon rear floor door must be removed. Remove all broken glass from inside doors. No flammable materials such as carpets, upholstery, or headliners can be left in car. Cars MUST be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk areas. Both rear seat and insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. Dash boards may be removed. BODY: NO welding of any sort will be allowed. Wheel wells maybe cut up to 3 maximum to allow for tire clearance but with 5, 3/8 bolts and washers per wheel well will be allowed. Front lower fender may be trimmed or folded to allow tire clearance but NO welding or Bolting will be allowed. Body bolts and mounts may be removed and broken bolts maybe replaced with stock size bolts, 2 x2 plates may be used. Additional body mounts may NOT be added anywhere. HOOD: Hood MUST have hole on either side of air cleaner if the exhaust is not run through the hood. Hood may be secured in 6 spots by chain, cable, 1 threaded rod or #9 wire only, no more than 3 loops. Only 2 points can connect to the frame. Hood hinges count as 2 connections. You may run chain around the front core support or around your bumper. Chain not to exceed 48 in length and no more than 2 loops to secure your hood and only after your car passes inspection. Holes in hood bracing may be bolted together using NO more than 25, 3/8 bolts and washers per hood! Trunk & Tailgate: Trunk must be empty and free of dirt and debris. Trunk must be secured with chain. Trunk maybe secured in 6 spots with chain, cable, 1 threaded rod or #9 wire only; with no more than 3 loops. Trunk hinges count as 2 spots. Chains are not to exceed 48 in length, and cannot wrap around more than 2 loops. Only 2 points may attach to frame. Doors: All doors can be welded 5 on 5 off or use 2 chains, cable or #9 wire on all doors. Drivers door maybe welded shut. Door chains cannot go around frame. You may install an interior or exterior driver and passenger door bar, but not both, and it may only exceed 4 past door seem, 6 wide and only up to 3/8 thick, for safety purpose only. Windows: 2 vertical steel bars or chains MUST be run from roof to the body (not hood) in front of the driver. NO #9 wire in any Windows. Rear window bars are permitted. Speaker decks must remain in place. Bumpers: Any auto bumper (no truck bumpers) may be used. Can be seam welded chrome to backing. No added metal. Bumpers may be replaced with a 4 x 4 x 1/4 square tube with open ends. Bumpers may be welded to bracket, and bracket to frame or hard-nosed. No added metal. Impact shocks maybe welded. No adding any steel. Maximum bumper height is 22 inches from ground to bottom of bumper, minimum bumper height is 15 inches. You may use a short piece of chain to retain the bumper it can be welded; one link to the bumper and one link to the frame, but not on a seam, and it cannot wrap around the bumper. Interior: With exceptions of floor shifters, all large holes in floor pan must be patch with sheet metal. Holes in firewalls will be permitted for distributor clearances. Any holes cut in the firewalls must be protected with nonflammable type material. Driver seat in DOT approved seatbelts or aftermarket racing harness must be securely mounted. You may run an aftermarket seat. Chassis: Frame May not be strengthened in anyway (no filling of frame with any type of materials and or no frame seem welding will be permitted). You may not weld any plates to the front or rear of the frame in this class. Horizontal bar maybe put behind driver s seat and must remain it 18 inches above floor boards. A 4 x 4 bar is also allowed to cross the dash. It must be securely welded, bolted, chain or wired to inside of the car to the door or door posts only, and not have plates bigger than 6 x 6 on ends. Dash and seat may be connected to the door bars creating a Floating 4-point cage. You may use an aftermarket steering column. You may also have a vertical roll bar connecting only to your floating cage bolted or welded together and attached to the roof by 2 bolts. No sandblasting, undercoating, or painting of the frame will be allowed. Trailer hitches and brackets must be removed. No tilting or cold bending. Rear End & Suspension: Shocks and suspensions must not be altered in any way. Bumper maximum is 22 inches from ground to bumper, minimum of 15 inches. You may weld your rear end gears. You may swap rear ends (Chevy Ford etc.) must be direct bolt in. No altering control arms. No braced rear ends. Slider drive shafts and gears will be allowed; rear springs may be wired or clamped to spring perch. Engine and Transmission: you may swap motors and transmissions in this class. No engine cradles, skid plates, pulley protectors or distributor protectors will be allowed! No alcohol burning engine. You may weld your motor mounts, or chain motors but must be 5 2

3 inches of original place. Carburetors must have air cleaner. No ether. Hand throttles are permitted. Transmission coolers are allowed. Transmission cooler must be no larger than 24 x 24 x 18 or you may loop off your lines. Headers are allowed but must remain vertical. NO aftermarket or built engines. STOCK Electrical: Two (2) 12 V or heavy equipment batteries are permitted. Batteries must be located inside of your car on passenger s floor, it must be securely mounted with a four point hold down at each and both must be covered. Battery in boxes must be secured. Push button or toggle ignition and power hot wiring is both acceptable. Solenoid, voltage regulators, coils, and other electrical components may be relocated. Components may be in close but not in such a way to strengthen the car. All fuses must be removed except for the gauges charging the ignition system and electric radiator fan. Radiator: Must be a stock radiator or aluminum (race style) radiator, NO radi-barrels or protectors will be permitted. You MUST drain anti-freeze out and run with water ONLY! Fan: If you run a radiator fan you must run with a Hood. Gas tank: Steel boat tank or fuel-cell will be allowed, 6 gallon max capacity. You must remove factory gas tank from his original position. Gas tanks must be placed in the rear seat area behind the driver or may be placed on your rear seat bar in the center on a bracket and must be securely fastened and all connections must be secured and leak-proof. All fuel lines must run through the inside of the car. Tanks must must be completely covered. You may not use plastic or Jerry cans. Rubber fuel lines are highly recommended. If running electric fuel pump you must have a shut off switch within drivers reach and clearly marked for fire officials. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Gas tank protectors allowed. Must be 6 in. from rear sheet metal Brakes: Must be functional in the start of every heat or feature. Tires and Rims: Any tire, skid steer, forklift, doubled or tubed. Valve stem protectors and multi-hole weld in centers OK. No bead locks or rim protectors A-arms can be chained, bolted or welded to increase height only 1, ¼ thick no longer than 8 per A-arm may be welded only to the front side of the a-arm to the frame no bending or wrapping. Tie rods and ends must be stock or stock replacement. You may run aftermarket steering column. Remember official decisions are final! Compact/Mid-size final draft 2016 Compact (4 cylinder) & Mid-size (6 cylinder) no full frames Stripping: all glass, plastic, fiberglass, and chrome moldings MUST be removed prior to arrival at facility. Station wagon rear floor door must be removed. Remove all broken glass from inside doors. No flammable materials such as carpets, upholstery, or headliners can be left in car. Cars MUST be clean and free of loose objects inside and in the trunk areas. Both rear seat and insulation blanket under the hood must be removed. Dash boards may be removed. BODY: NO welding of interior seams. Wheel wells maybe cut. Sunroofs must be filled with a security fastened sheet. Front lower fenders maybe cut or folded to allow tire clearance. You may use, two bolts maximum, no welding. Rust spot may not be fixed other than floorboard holes. Hood: hood must have hole on either side of air cleaner if the exhaust is not run through the hood. Hood may be secured in 6 spots by bolts, chains, or #9 wire; you may only use up to 3 loops. Hood hinges count as 2 secured point. Bolts or threaded rod may not exceed 1 in diameter and not to extend 6 above hood and a total length of 39 in diameter. Only 2 bolts or threaded rod maybe connected to the frame. Front 2 bolts or threaded rods may be welded to frame but not to exceed weld of 6 only and may be welded on both sides of rods. All threaded rod must run vertical from frame to hood. NO bending around frame is permitted. Washers or metal plates may not exceed 6 x6 in diameter and1/2 thick. Chain or wire may not exceed 36 in length and more more than 3 loops. Secure your hood only AFTER you pass inspection. No chain or wire around your frame. You may use up to (8) 3/8 bolts to fasten the two layers of hood together. You can run rods through core supports. 3

4 Trunks and Tailgates: Trunks MUST be empty and free of dirt and debris. Trunks may be tucked up to 50% but no wedging, it must be secured with either chain, #9 wire or threaded rod. On tailgates you may weld 2 plates of steel per vertical seam NO larger than 4 x4 x ¼. Trunk maybe secured in 4 spots by bolts, chain, or #9 wire. Bolts not to exceed over 6 above trunk lid and maximum length of 30 total. Only 2 bolts or threaded rods may be connected to frame and must remain horizontal. You may weld to frame but welds not to exceed weld of 6 only and may be welded on both sides of rod. All threaded rods must run vertical from frame to trunk lid NO bending around frame will be permitted. Chains and wires are not to exceed 24 in length and not to wrap around more than twice. Washers or metal plates may not exceed 6 x6 in diameter and ½ thick. Doors: All doors must be chained closed. The driver s door may be welded completely closed. Driver s door may be closed ONLY with a steel rod 3/8 thick or less or 3 metal band ¼ thick and may be welded solid. NO welding on inside of doors. All remaining doors must be chained up. (2 chains or cables may be used.) Or 5 on and 5 off welds may be used on doors. Bumpers: Compact class may replace plastic or aluminum bumper a with a bumper off a similar make or model of car, or a 4x4x1/8 square tube (open ends). Bumpers off 1980 & new full size cars are permitted, BUT MUST be trimmed to original bumper size. All mounting brackets mounting to the back of the bumper, or frame, or shocks may be welded to secure firmly, but no adding any steel. NO welding bumpers to the body. Shocks may be drained before welding. NO extra added steel to inside of bumpers or inside bumper shocks. NO welding of bumper seams. Thru bolting is acceptable (drilling a hole and running a bolt up and down through shock, to prevent Shock pulling out) or a single strand of chain may be used as a retaining chain- NO wrapping around the bumper. Bumpers may be trimmed. Folding ends are permitted. NO bolting or welding folded ends. Maximum bumper height is 22 from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. Bumpers may be turned upside down or front to back. Washers may be welded over the holes cut or drilled out in bumper for chaining or wiring purpose (3 maximum washers). Your only allowed 6 in the sub frame and you may run your threaded rod through them for safety. Interior: With exceptions of floor shifters, all large holes in floor pan must be patch with sheet metal. Holes in firewalls will be permitted for distributor clearances. Any holes cut in the firewalls must be protected with nonflammable type material. Chassis: Vehicle MUST have factory stock, upper and lower core supports- no seam welding on core supports. (NO FILLING FRAME WITH ANY TYPE OF MATERIAL). Interior bars are highly recommended. This consists of one bar across the dash, it MUST remain above factory steering column bracket, and no more than 12 behind the driver seat and it must be 18 from floor and remain horizontal. Bars may be mounted 6 maximum plates welded or bolted on each end. Any size bars up to 6 diameter are acceptable. Bars may be welded or bolted in. Trailer hitches and mounting brackets MUST be removed. You may use stock or modified steering columns. You may replace or modify knuckles and/or joints in steering assembly. Rear suspension: Bumper height is 22 from ground to bottom of bumper and it is strictly enforced. Coil springs may be changed but bumper height must remain 22 or less. Leaf springs MUST BE FACTORY STOCK ON THE REAR, MAKE AND MODEL AND MOUNTS CANNOT BE MODIFIED. Must be stock amount of leafs. You may use up to 2 clamps per set leaf springs, NO suspension conversions are allowed. Engines: firewall may be beat back or cut out for clearance. NO engine or pulley protectors allowed. Motor may be chained to frame and motor mounts may be altered and strengthen provided it does not strengthen the frame or any other non-related mounting components. Carburetor must have air filter. NO ether. Hand throttles are acceptable, headers and stacks are permitted, but must be completely vertical. No carbs allowed on front wheel drive cars in these classes. Radiator: Radiator must be in stock position. No radi-barrels or other homemade type radiators. You may not reinforce or add any metal to core support. Nylon straps, bolts, steel bands or wire may be used to support radiator. WATER ONLY, please flush out coolant. If you run a fan you must run a hood. Electrical: Two (2) 12 V or heavy equipment batteries are permitted. Batteries must be located inside of your car on passenger s floor, it must be securely mounted with a four point hold down on each and both must be covered. Battery in boxes must be secured. 5 Transmission: transmission coolers are acceptable. Cooler may be mounted inside the car but MUST BE NO LONGER THAN 24 x24 x18, this means that the complete unit including the box around the cooler not to exceed these dimensions. ALL LINES TRAVELING INSIDE IF DRIVERS COMPARTMENT, MUST USE METAL LINES OR HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC LINES, AND RUN THROUH SOME FORM OF ANOTHER HOSE. If it doesn't pass inspection, we will ask you to loop it off. Gas tank: six-gallon fuel cell highly recommended. Original gas tank must be removed, and you may not use original fuel tank inside the car, NO EXCEPTIONS! Tank may be no larger than 6 gallons and must be metal, no plastic or jerry cans. Tanks must be securely mounted and all connections must be secure and leak proof. Stop check valves are highly recommended. Gas tanks must be completely covered. Pump fuel only, (no Alcohol or methanol). Rubber fuel lines are recommended from gas tank to fuel pump. Electric fuel pumps MUST HAVE A SHUT OFF SWITCH. Within drivers reach and clearly marked for fire officials. NO PLASTIC LINES. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Brakes: must be functional in the start of every heat. Tires & Rims: Any ply, 12,13, 14, or 15 tires are permitted. Maximum allowance of 25 tall and 7 width double tires (tires inside tires), rubber inner-liners or solid rubber tires are acceptable. NO STUDDED TIRES, NO WHEEL WEIGHTS, DOUBLE RIMS OR SPLIT RIMS. No screws, rivets, or bead locks to secure tires to rim. Valve stem guards are permitted. Outside lugs on aggressive tires must be trimmed. No welding of cradles or sub frames! ALL OFFICIAL DECISIONS ARE FINAL!! Full size and Compact Trucks, Minivans, and SUV s final draft 2016 Any 2wd or 4wd full size, compact imported or Domestic size pick-up trucks, minivans, or SUV's will be accepted. Any 4wd pick-up, minivan or SUV's will need to remove front or rear drive shaft to compete. You may swap motor (GM to Ford etc.). All windows, tail lights, head lights, chrome, and mirrors MUST be removed. Truck boxes: All pick-up boxes must or original equipment style, may put ford box on Chevy etc. No homemade boxes! No utility boxes allowed!! No lift kits are allowed. Pick up boxes may have additional four bolts per side to help secure safely the pickup box to frame. Bolts used must be of similar size to bolt used from the factory on truck. Doors and cab: Drivers door maybe welded secure. All others must be chained or 5 on 5 off welds allowed. You may mount one 6 maximum round bar mounted horizontally from post to post behind the driver seat. Must be mounted 3 inches up or down from center of seat. (not including headrest). You may weld or bolt to the sides. Plates are not to exceed ¾ inch diameter. Dash Bar and rear seat bar are strongly recommended and may be welded or bolted together creating a cage. Tailgates must be chained with chains not to exceed 3 feet in length with 1 links welding is permitted. Hood may 6 fastening spots, hood hinges count a 2. No more than 4 chains in the hood. All hoods Must have 15 square in fire wall. You must have an air cleaner on carburetor. Tailgates may be welded to truck box or on van body to secure them for safety. Bumpers and fenders: may be trimmed or removed but reinforced. Mandatory trucks, minivans & SUV's must have front and rear bumper at the start of competition to compete. You may change non steel bumpers and replace them with a similar type vehicle or a 4 x4 X1/8 square tube with open ends. Suspension: May not be blocked or altered. No coil over shocks. All leaf springs on trucks or vans MUST have standard number of springs for the vehicle being used in competition. NO OVERLOADS ALLOWED. Truck suspension must not be altered and meet with official s approval before competition. No welding of suspension allowed. Batteries: all batteries must be relocated to inside of the truck or van, and must be bolted with a 4 point hold down system and must be covered for the protection of the driver. Gas tanks: fuel tank should be relocated to bed of the truck and attached to the floor or frame of the center of the box. You should have a plate in your box to mount your fuel tank no larger than ½ thick and may not go past the starting of the wheel wells. DOT 5

6 approved metal boat tanks and approved fuel cells with all connections properly sealed must be used. All tanks must be strapped down securely and must be completely covered. All original gas tanks must be completely removed. Electric fuel pumps must have an emergency shut offs within drivers reach and must be clearly marked for emergency personnel. With any fuel tank you may only use up to 6 gallons of fuel. NO ALCOHOL MAY BE USED. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Welding: no welding except for pumpkin gears, front and rear bumper, shocks, motor mounts, transmission mounts, and driver s door. Seat belts: all trucks, vans and SUV's must be equipped with DOT approved seat belts and seats. Tires and rims: no split rims allowed on trucks vans, or SUV's. All wheel weights must be removed from rims. Truck and van tires and rims MUST be stock size. Up to 33 tires in full size truck class. No ply restrictions. All lugs must be trimmed on grip type tires. Body mounts: undamaged body mounts may not be altered. If body mounts have been damaged, bolts may be replaced only with bolts of similar size. Halo bars are strongly recommend!!! They must run in an up and down position and either welded or bolted to the rear seat bar and 2 bolts to the roof. Remember official decisions are final! Power Wheels 2016 $10 entry fee Each participant receives a trophy and with 1 best of show trophy will be awarded. 3 to 10 year old, 100 lbs. max It must be stock electric small, regular size power wheels with up to a 12-volt lawn mower battery. Battery cannot be mount on passenger seat. Helmets must be worn, all doors, hoods and tailgates must be strapped shut. The derby will run 10 minutes. ABSOLUTELY NO METAL BUMPERS WILL BE ALLOWED! All power wheels must sign in at the pits half an hour prior to derby. No sharp edges! Zip ties and duct tape are recommended to fasten doors, hood, and trunk. They need to be just like you, paint them up like their own derby cars or like yours. REMEMBER SAFTEY FIRST IN THIS CLASS FOR YOUR KIDS AND FOR OFFICIALS! Any unsportsmanlike conduct by parents result in parents being escorted out. As soon as the power wheels are done children must leave the pit area. Pit areas are full of dangers. The safest place for your child is up in the grand stands. NO EXCEPTIONS! Mods 2016 final Draft 2016 General: any American made car 1960 to present. NO 4WD, JEEPS, UTILITY, Sedagons, IMPERIALS, CAMEROS, OR FIREBIRDS ALLOWED. Vehicles MUST have secure DOT approved seat belts. A 2.5 lb. dry chemical fire extinguisher inside car is highly recommended. 6

Body: no welding of interior seams!! Wheel wells maybe cut up to 3 maximum to allow for tire clearance. No welding! Maximum of 8 bolts per wheel well. Sun roofs must be filled with a security sheet. Front lower fender may be cut or folded to allow tire clearance- you may up to 2 bolts maximum, no welding! Rubber body mounts maybe removed, body bolts may be replaced with stock or up to 5/8 maximum bolts may be lengthened to travel through TOP HALF of frame and inside vehicle ONLY WITH 3 nuts and washers. Only the interior 5 washers must be free floating inside of vehicles. Equal size flat stock drilled out as washer is acceptable. NO ADDITIONAL BODY BOLTS MAY BE ADDED ANYWHERE! Rust spots can be fixed but seam thickness must remain consistent. Hood: Hood MUST have hole on either side of air cleaner if the exhaust is NOT ran through the hood. Hood may be secured in 6 spots by bolts, chains, or #9 wire, chain and wire NOT to exceed 3 loops. Bolts or threaded rod may not exceed 1 in diameter and not to exceed 6 above hood and a maximum length of 30 total. ONLY 2 bolts of threaded rod may connect to the frame. Front 2 bolts or threaded rods may be welded to the frame but not to exceed weld of 6 only and may be welded on both sides of rod. All threaded rod must run vertical from frame to hood. No bending around frame will be permitted. If you re NOT running threaded rod through the front core support mounts, you may have up to 6 long bolts and no more than 2 washers and nuts in core support mounts. Washers or metal plates may not exceed 6 X6 in diameter and ½ thick. chain or wiring may not attach to the frame but can attach to the bumper through the upper core support and hood. Chain or wire may not exceed 36 in length and no more than 3 loops. Secure hood only AFTER your car passes tech inspection. NO chains or wire around the frame. You may use up to (25) 3/8 bolts to fasten the two layers of hood together with 3/8 washers. Trunk and tailgate: trunk must be empty of dirt and debris. Trunks may be tucked up to 50% or V wedged but tail lite panels must remain vertical. On tailgates you may weld 2 plates of steel per vertical seam NO larger than 4 X4 X1/4. Trunk may be secured in 5 spots per seam by bolts, chain, or #9 wire. Wire or chain not to exceed more than 3 loops. Bolts not to exceed over 6 above trunk lid and a maximum length of 30 total ONLY 2 bolts or threaded rods can connect to the frame and must remain horizontal. You may weld to frame but welds may not exceed 6" and may be welded on both sides of the rod. All threaded rods must run vertical from frame to trunk lid, NO BENDING AROUND THE FRAME WILL BE ALLOWED! Plates are not to exceed 6 X6 in diameter and 1/4 thick. Taillight panels must remain vertical in all classes. Trunks may be welded 5 on 5 off Doors: All doors must be chained closed or welded. The driver s may be welded completely closed. All other doors may be welded 5 on 5 off. NO WELDING ON THE INSIDE OF DOORS. Windows: two vertical steel bars MUST be ran from the roof of the car down to the body (not the hood) in front of the driver. Nylon racing type nets are recommended, but you must be able to remove them quickly in case of emergency. DO NOT COVER DRIVERS WINDOW WITH MESH OR STEEL TYPE MATERIALS FOR SAFTEY REASON!! NO #9 wire in any of the windows. BUMPERS: Bumpers may be any year and any make automotive type bumper. Bumpers may be reinforced. Home built bumpers will be allowed. Any homemade pointy bumpers may not exceed 2 ½ wide and 7 deep from center and not to exceed ¼ inch thick. NO welding bumpers to body. Maximum bumper height is 22 max and 15" minimum from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. 4x4x1/4 tube bumpers are allowed. INTERIOR: Holes may be cut in firewall to allow distributor cap or other components to move beyond the fire wall. Driver s seat and DOT approved seat belts must be securely mounted. You can put a 3-point harness. CHASSIS and FRAME: frame must be from the same make and model vehicle with the similar frame to body bolt pattern. An example of this is Impala to Impala, Crown Vic to Crown Vic and etc. Vehicle must have factory core supports No filling frame with any type of material. Frame may be shortened ½ way through the body mount tab. Frame welding you may weld firewall forward. No adding any metal. No laser cutting the frame, sand blasting, undercoating, or painting will not be allowed. Welding on or to the frame is indicated in specific cases throughout the rules. You may pre bend your frame, cut and pitch frame and weld cut area but not to add any extra steel to the area that's been cut, or you may notch the frame. No welding frame to body. You may plate the 7

8 humps no larger than 3 wide and 18 in length and no thicker than ¼ plate outside of frame only. Plates must remain rectangular shaped. No cutting or modifying plates to fit the frame. You may weld one plate of steel A-arm forward on the outside of the frame only, not top, or inside and not to exceed 4 wide and 18 in length 1/4" max. Plates may be welded on all four sides. Plates must remain rectangular piece, may not cut and located them in two pieces. You may bend your plates. Stubbing is allowed, minimum of 18 behind the body bolt by crush box. You may use a 1 metal band around the cut area and may be welded, no other reinforcement will be allowed. Interior bars consist of one bar across the dash, and another, no more than 12 behind the driver s seat and must be at least 8 from floor and remain horizontal. Door bars may be mounted with 6 maximum plates welded or bolted at each end. Any size bars up to 6 in diameter are acceptable. Bars must be welded or bolted to the inside of the car. 4 down legs off door bars (2 per side) welded to sheet metal only, not the frame. Can't be any further than front door post. Roll over bars MUST remain vertical ONLY, and may NOT add support to any other part of car. You may bolt the roll over bar to the roof with 2 bolts, roll over bar may not attach to your frame and may not run any type of kickers off your roll over bar, Trailer hitches must be removed. Rear window bars allowed running from roof to in between the trunk and the speaker deck. Speaker decks must remain original but can be dished up to 10. A-arms may be welded down with 2 x8 strap but be on spring pocket may only weld upper A- arm. REAR SUSPENSION: Bumper height is 22" max 15" min from ground to bottom of bumper. No Leaf spring conversions. You may only run 9 factory leaf springs, nothing on top of main, 4 clamps per side. Main leaf 48" minimum. Hangers can be welded or bolted to frame. Must be centered under humps. Leaf springs must have factory type stagger. You may chain or cable rear humps to axle. Chain or cable may not exceed no more than 36 in length. You may reinforce factory rear upper and lower control arms, but must remain operational. No aftermarket spindles, tie rods, or gear boxes. REAR ENDS: Any OEM auto or truck rear end (up to 3/4 ton - NO duals) Hybrids / spools / 9 " OK. Aftermarket axles OK. You may brace rear end but may not strengthen frame in any way. Bracing may exceed 5 from housing. Watt conversion is allowed plate cannot exceed 4 x8 may be held in by 4 1inch welds or 4½ bolts. Engine: you may swap motors. No diesels. Firewall may be cut or beat back for distributor clearance. Distributor protectors are allowed but must be engine or transmission mount from carburetor back to bell housing. Distributor protector mat not exceed 11 wide. Lower engine cradle and pulley protector allowed. Motors may be chained to the frame and motor mounts may be altered and strengthened provided this does not strengthen the frame or other non-related mounting components. Carburetor must have air filter. No ether. Hand throttles are acceptable. Header stacks are permitted and must be completely vertical. You may run a bar from header to header for support. Carburetor protectors are allowed. No steal bell housing allowed. Radiator: radiator must be located in stock position. No radi-barrels or other homemade type radiators. Radiator protectors are allowed. Steel mesh or similar material may be used but no larger than stock radiator size. Radiator protection may not attach to the frame, core support only. Core support may be secured by replacing factory bolts to frame with maximum 1 diameters bolts. You may remove core support to frame mounts and bolt solid through top and bottom frame. You may not reinforce or add any metal to core support other than washer and tabs for hood securing purposes. Nylon straps, bolts, steel band, chain or wire may only be used to support radiator. Please flush out coolant before running, Water only. If you run a radiator fan, you must run a hood. Transmission: transmission coolers acceptable. Cooler may be mounted inside the car but MUST BE NO LONGER THAN 24 x24 x18, this means that the complete unit including the box around the cooler not to exceed these dimensions. ALL LINES TRAVELING INSIDE IF DRIVERS COMPARTMENT, MUST USE METAL LINES OR HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC LINES, AND RUN THROUH SOME FORM OF ANOTHER HOSE. If it doesn't pass inspection, we will ask you to loop it off. Shifting linkage may be altered, but cannot pose any kind of safety risk to driver. Transmission mounts may be altered providing this does not strengthen the frame. 2 gap between cross members. Gas tank: six-gallon fuel cell highly recommended. Original gas tank must be removed, and you may not use original fuel tank inside the car, NO EXCEPTIONS! Tank may be no larger than 10 gallons and must be metal, no plastic or jerry cans. Tanks must be securely mounted and all connections must be secure and leak proof. Stop check valves are highly recommended. Gas tanks must be completely covered. Pump fuel only, (no Alcohol or methanol). Rubber fuel lines are recommended from gas tank to fuel pump. 8

9 Electric fuel pumps MUST HAVE A SHUT OFF SWITCH. Within drivers reach and clearly marked for fire officials. NO PLASTIC LINES. Gas spillage will result in disqualification. Gas tank protector 24 wide can be tight to sheet metal but pound sheet metal. Rear differentials: 8 lug maximum. Locked or welded is permitted. Gears are permitted any drive shaft is permitted. Brakes: brakes must Be functional in the start of every heat or feature. Tires and rims: any ply 14, 15, and 16 tires as permitted. Double tires (tire inside of tires), rubber inner-liners or solid rubber tires are acceptable. No studded tires. No wheel weights, double rims or split rims. 8 wheel centers are allowed. Glue may be used to secure tire to rim- no screws, rivets, or bead locks. Valve stem guards are permitted. Everything must meet official s approval or newer You may either plate over or cut out and replace with an 02 or older crown Vic engine cradle. May weld in or bolt in. No tipping 03 or newer. Crush wholes may not be filled. 80 lower A-arms are allowed but must use stock mounting brackets off of 02 or older. REMEMBER OFFICIAL DECISIONS ARE FINAL! 9
