4 STEPHEN BAKER Began with BHD 8/28/06 BHD SENIOR TECH Education Experience For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with computers and the way they work. In college I received a degree in Software Engineering and Network Management, both of which I still enjoy. I worked in IT for a local 7-store hardware and lumber chain before coming to BHD. Working at BHD it has allowed me to expand my knowledge in almost all computer related fields. It has been a great pleasure to help BHD clients with the issues and knowing that I am helping then run their business faster and better. 5 RICH CARRANZA Began with BHD 3/12/07 BHD TECH Before coming to BHD I worked in the transportation industry from the early age of 17. I have roughly a million and half driving miles under my belt from my overthe-road driving days. I am a single parent with two daughters, 19 and 15, the older of whom lives with me. 6 BRIAN MAUPIN Began with BHD 3/19/07 BHD TECH I have over 10 years of experience in IT support for both private companies and public institutions. I ve worked in businesses from small 10-employee offices to late datacenters for international companies. My support has targeted from CEOs to the end user. Since coming to Big Hairy Dog, I have taken on the majority of configurations for retailers who process credit, debit and gift cards. I enjoy working in IT support because I like to solve problems. 7 MATT SANGERMANO BHD TECH Began with BHD 8/31/10 I ve been fortunate to have most of my career experience in the National Parks environment. My first retail experience was selling giraffe food at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. That led to my working as the Warehouse Manager, and Retail Clerk at Pikes Peak National Park. I spent 7 years in the ski industry as a hardgoods/softgoods buyer and then worked as a Service Shop Manager at Sequoia National Park. Lastly, before coming to BHD, I was a Retail Pro Administrator, Retail Analyst and IT Manager for 8 years at Yosemite National Park. Additionally, I worked for 3 years as the IT Project Manager for the Parks and Resorts Services. I feel most competent at being able to interpret technology to those who don t understand it. I have lived in these beautiful locations: Colorado Springs, CO Worms, Germany Three Rivers, CA Yosemite National Park, Ca Grand Canyon National Park, AZ I enjoy Golfing, Sports Cars spending time with my family and traveling I work as a Tech for BHD remotely, in the Flagstaff, AZ area. 8 Jeremy Green Began with BHD 4/4/11 Experience BHD TECHNICAL SUPPORT My experience includes 4 years in the grocery industry, 10 years of retail management with Staples. 2 years as Staples Tech Center manager, 1 year at Outdoor Kids, and 1 year at Kombat Soccer as Web Administrator in their IT Dept. My strengths are in working with P.C. hardware and software, website design and upkeep, trouble shooting, and customer service. I have always lived in the Northern California area, including Dixon, Davis, Woodland, and Vacaville. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies and working on computers, especially websites. I also have a love of music, and enjoy playing guitar, singing, writing and recording music. We have a 6-year old son, and a new daughter, born in June of Three cats add to the household, and someday we d like to add a dog into the mix. I am usually very involved in church worship however since starting school I haven't been able to participate as often as I d like. 9 Luann Lepere Began with BHD 4/18/11 BHD TECH I have been working in retail and retail software for over 30 years, with most of my experience being in softgoods. I look forward to the day when I can use my experience to make BHD customers happy. I am best at looking at a technical problem from the user s point of view. I have been there, and understand the stresses that go with the retail environment. I grew up in southern California and moved to the northern part of the state in I have 2 daughters, one pursuing a PHd in Pharmaceutical Sciences in Madison, WI, the other an undergrad at Cal. When I am not at work, I like to garden, sew and bake. Very domestic sounding, but I am not really all that domestic. I am a volunteer docent at the Cameron Park Rotary Community Observatory. 10 Darrell Franklin ACCOUNTING S/W & ACCTLINK SUPPORT Began with BHD 8/15/07 Background I was born in Oklahoma and raised between Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas, until we moved to California when I was 12. After High School I joined the Navy and traveled to Georgia, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Italy. Experience I have worked with personal computers for over 30 years, and was an Electronics Technician in the Navy. For 10 years I sold computers for Tandy Corporation, during which time I managed a Tandy Computer Center. I spent 8 years as a software trainer for CompUSA, before coming to Big Hairy Dog in Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, Sci-Fi, comedies, and thrillers. I also spend too much time playing on my computers. I have been married (to the same woman) for 37 years. We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Our 2 youngest children live at home with us, along with our 3 cats. My wife and I are enjoying our first grandchild and looking forward to spoiling several more grandchildren in the future. Back to BHD 11/2011 Education College Graduate with Industrial Engineering Degree Worked for international Motor Vehicle Filtration Company for 9 years before emigrating to U.S. Worked for a few months at CompUSA before starting at BHD. Born in South Africa, came to US 12 years ago & became US citizen 2 years ago. Had a blind date 26 years ago w/ my wife of 20 years. We have 2 sons, both with purple belts in karate.
