2 Attention on safety Please read this user s manual carefully before using and use rightly. The purpose of this attention is to protect users or others from injure, damage or loss of property in advance and use this product rightly and safely. Do not use the unit near by corrosive gas, inflammable gas, explosive atmosphere, watery or oily place or inflammables. It may cause fire, electric shock or injury. Only person who has special knowledge is requested to work for setting, wiring, operation, inspection, maintenance and so on. There is a reason of electric shock and injury. Keep rated input power voltage range surely. There is a reason of fire or damage. Make sure the wiring according to wiring example. There is a reason of fire or damage. Do not touch the terminal base during power on by no means because some terminals have high voltage. There is a reason of electric shock. 3 Warning Do not operate to move, wire, maintain and test etc. during power on. After power-off and ten seconds pass, please start to operate. It may cause electric shock. Do not touch the unit with wet hand by no means during power on. There is a reason of electric shock. Connect the protective earth (PE) with the protect earth terminal of equipment by no means. It may cause electric shock. Do not use driver other than inside of control box. It may cause electric shock or injury. Install terminal cover for terminal during power on. It may cause electric shock and injure. Fix the driver tightly when installing. It may cause injury. Do not touch the driver during operation and for the time being after stop. Because the surface of driver is hot depending of operating condition, it may cause injury. Depending on the setting of the driver, it may operate suddenly when recovering from overheating. Please pay a special attention. (In case of the driver having HEAT function) Use power isolated from dangerous voltage. It may cause electric shock. (In only case of DC type device) Caution Do not use or store the unit in dirty atmosphere. It may cause malfunctions. Do not give a large shock to the driver. It may cause malfunctions. Do not use or store this unit in a place of high or low temperature, extreme high or low humidity. It may cause a short circuit or malfunctions Avoid dews to form. It may cause a short circuit or malfunctions. MYCOM is, in no way, responsible for any damages or malfunctions that are caused by user s repair or modifications on this driver. If the user performed these initiations and the driver does not work satisfactory, a warranty will not be provided. Please contact us for internal check or repair. When giving up the use of the driver, dispose it according to an appropriate regulation on the industrial waste. Please do not remove the nameplate.

8 Pulse wave Pulse signal Direction signal section shows ON status(turn on of photo coupler) of input circuit photo coupler. Motor starts to rotate by rising edge( ) of pulse signal. Direction signal input is to rotate CW direction by inputting pulse signal at ON status. Also if pulse is inputted at OFF status, motor rotates to CCW direction. Signal name of product uses pulse signal as CW input and direction signal as CCW input. 2 pulse type CW pulse signal CCW pulse signal section shows ON status(turn on of photo coupler) of input circuit photo coupler. Attention 1.In case that the signal exceeds DC5V in use, please insert below resistor in serial near to the output terminal (connector) of using controller so that the current of 10mA passes Input voltage 5V Value of resistor to beinserted()= - Resistor value of wiring() 10mA 2.The current-down function is invalid if the photo-coupler of pulse input keeps ON status when stopping.

Auto-Current-down function(cd) This automatically reduces the motor driving current and temperature rising of motor after the motor stops and about 200ms. later. Attention If it becomes current-down status, certain position gap is issued without relation of step numbers reflecting characteristic of using motor.

13 Input pulse type selection(sw2) Set input pulse type. Setting 1P/2P Note Factory default The black part is part of switch selection. Protective earth terminal This connects with the protective earth terminal of the machine. Use round type pressure terminal for connecting with protective earth terminal. V1.25-MS3(JAE), TGV1.25-3(NICHIFU) or equivalent For safety please connect with the protective earth terminal of the machine by no means. Use bigger wire than capacity(thickness) of AWG20(0.5mm 2 ) for the connection of protective earth terminal.

14 Example of connection In case of using of uni-polar motor, separate A.COM and B.COM then use motor in the state of non-connection. Attention Please isolate A.COM from B.COM in order not to contact them.

15 Wiring and Install condition Wiring of power input and motor output If the motor line becomes longer, radiation noise can be depressed by using shield AWG22(0.3mm 2 ) equal to or bigger wire. Install noise filter at power input where noise sources exist near the driver. Because of over current, it is very dangerous to connect wrongly power input with motor output. -Wiring of input pulse signal If input signal wiring is longer, using shield wire can depress miss-operation by noise. -Applicable tool Use CT150-1C-IL of Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Limited(J.A.E.) to press the socket contact(il-c2-1000). -Install condition Use in the control box. This driver is designed in accordance with the below condition. Over voltage category : Category I, Material group : III. Degree of pollution : Class 2 Protective structure : IP00 Protect against electric shock : Class III device It is also limited to use at the place where is no mechanical stress. Put 3cm or more space between each driver and fix the drivers when multiple drivers are arranged. Shield twisted pair line is recommended for signal cable to be used for this device. There is a possibility that driver temperature exceeds 60 depending on load or other environmental condition. Please cool heatsink by cooling fan. Because this device radiates heat by forced-air cooling, Forced-air cooling by fan is required.
