2 i product s dettagli details GEARBOX HANDLE Reliable heavy duty gearboxes designed to resist to the most severe working conditions. The handles are ergonomically designed and rubber coated to ensure the best working comfort. The ACTIVE bicycle handles can be adjusted separately on each side. 8 TRANSMISSION Transmissions made of special material, light but heavy duty. Transmissions shafts (except models 2.5 and 2.9) have 6 self-lubricating bushings to reduce vibrations. All these features guarantee the maximum comfort to the operator. SHOCK ABSORBER FUEL TANK To reduce vibrations, shock absorbers have been positioned between the engine and the transmission. A patented TDS (Twin Dumper System) is used on all B-T models. This system has been developed by Active engineers to reduce the vibrations and to comply to the most severe regulations on this matter. A larger cap on the gasoline tank makes easy the filling operation. All pipes are manufactured in Viton, special material resisting to unleaded fuel corrosion and high temperatures. Special device to avoid Vapor-Lock.

3 DIGITAL IGNITION CARBURETTOR The digital ignitions have been specifically developed by ACTIVE to offer better performances. The digital ignition guarantees an easier start of the engine in any condition, a cleaner engine and lower emissions. diaphragm carburettors with primer are used on all engines. Diaphragms are made of a special material (Mylar) used to guarantee good and long performances even using unleaded fuel with high percentage of alcohol and/or alkylic fuels. CLUTCH All ACTIVE brushcutters (except models 2.5 and 2.9) are equipped with an heavy duty 78 mm clutch with two shoes. The large clutch ensures a longer life and guarantees all power to be transferred to the cutting device. 9 MUFFLER The special material (thickness 1,0 mm), used in manufacturing the muffler, reduces the noise emissions. The Active technology used in producing this component guarantees a longer life of the muffler due to reduced wear (caused by hot temperatures and oil). DECOMPRESSOR AIR FILTER ENGINE CRANKSHAFT - PISTON Some models are equipped with a to guarantee an easy start with very low effort. This device eliminates the kick back and ensure a longer life of starter components. Double stage air fiers. These fiers guarantee longer engines life and lower maintenance costs. A paper fier kit (ideal for very dusty conditions) is available, as an option, for engines. 6.5 engine fit paper fier. The two pieces crankshafts with two counterweights are made of high quality steel. The special design reduces vibrations and guarantees high performances. Piston: Ura light pistons are used to reduce vibrations. All pistons made of special cast iron have two pistons rings to ensure a longer life of the engine.

8 Attachments for brushcutters ø 24*/26mm shaft HEDGE TRIMMER T550 * To fit the hedge trimmer and pruner attachments to the brushcutters models 2.5 and 2.9 (24 mm transmission tube - see page 10) the adaptor (part n ) has to be used. Without this adaptors the attachments can t be used on the mentioned models.
