The provides high flow capabilities that exceed the competition. The units are made of a durable and long lasting cast aluminum construction. The is available in a variety of sizes and plenum options. The plenums are pre-painted flat black to conceal them from view through the diffuser. 7 E3 UNERLOOR PROUCTS Round iffuser, isplacement Air Pattern Suggested Specification & Configuration UNERLOOR PROUCTS Underfloor diffusers shall be Krueger model. The diffuser shall be constructed of solid cast aluminum and meet NPA 90A requirements. The diffuser shall have a maximum load rating of 1250 lbs. The diffuser, damper assembly, and dirt catch pan are shipped fully assembled and can be securely installed in floor tile by turning the center screw and allow retention bar to clip to bottom side of floor tile. The diffuser shall not be removed without use of hexagonal key. The floor diffuser shall be designed such that the access floor panel is not removed from the floor system for installation of the diffuser. The diffuser core design shall produce a low displacement air pattern that complies with ASHRAE Standard 62. The diffuser shall have a sliding manual damper capable of adjusting the volume from full closed to full open. The diffuser shall be factory painted with a powder coat finish. The - shall be provided with an optional plenum. The components. The plenum shall be provided with an ellipsoid duct connection that will accept a standard six inch duct. The plenum shall be provided with one side open to the underfloor plenum for constant volume operation and to control sound transmission from the underfloor plenum to the occupied zone. The plenum shall be provided with a an actuated air valve damper controlled by a 90-degree stepper type motor having no stops, springs, gears, belts or linkages, and shall rotate continuously in one direction (not reversing) to minimize wear. The motor shall directly drive the damper blade. The damper assembly shall be rated and tested for a life of 100 million cycles (factory tests of at least 20 million cycles at normal operating speeds are required). A proportional 0-10 Vdc control signal can be used to modulate the damper position to adjust the volume of air in response to the thermostat signal. 1.
