4 SAFETY All machines that use coated products can be dangerous and cause serious injury if they are not properly used and if safety procedures are not followed. Although maximum speeds are provided for each product, it is highly recommended that you use speeds recommended by the power tool manufacturer. Do not use sizes other than those for which the power tool is designed for! Abrasives deliver best performance when used in normal room temperature and humidity. Excessive temperature and humidity can cause abrasives to fail. Use extra caution when grinding in extremely cold or hot conditions. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Eye protection must be worn by all operators and other personnel in the grinding area Wear a dust and fumes mask Do not exceed maximum operating speeds Store abrasives under the manufacturer s recommendation conditions Make sure that you are using proper abrasive tools for your application Never modify abrasive tools from its original form Keep all safety guards in place Read all instructions provided by the manufacturer before operating Observe and follow safety instructions for the intended work area Safe use of abrasives requires strict adherence to the guidelines set in ANSI standard Z87.1 Occupational Eye and Face Protection MANDATORY PICTOGRAMS GENERAL SAFETY PRINCIPLES Use for face grinding Wear ear protection complying with EN 352 recommended for all applications where the workpiece or machine is hand-held, irrespective of the noise level. Wear gloves. Minimum protection level of EN 388 Category 2 recommended. PROHIBITION PICTOGRAMS Not suitable for wet grinding Not permitted for hand-held and manually guided grinding Only permitted with back-up pad Wear a dust mask complying with EN149 recommended for dry grinding processes even if extraction systems are provided Use face shield Not permitted for face grinding Wear eye protection. Read the instructions Wear an apron Do not use if damaged OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Read safety instructions before using abrasives Allow tools to reach operating speed before you start grinding For best results, grind at an angle recommended for the type of disc that you are using More grinding pressure results in aggressive grinding while less pressure produces a smoother finish ; in other words, do not use excessive pressure when grinding. Do not use excessive pressure when grinding Using grinding angles greater than which is recommended and/or grinding corners can cause premature and uneven wear When grinding keep the power tool in motion for best results MAXIMUM OPERATING SPEEDS All the abrasive discs are supposed to be used at the maximum speed shown on the labels and packaging. PICK UP ORDERS All pick up orders are subjected to two hours advance notice and confirmation for stock items only. SHIPMENT TO ADDRESSES DIFFERENT THAN PURCHASERS Any shipments to a destination other than the purchaser address are subject to additional charges. SAMEDAY SHIPMENTS Order for stock items placed by 12 Noon Eastern Standard Time will be shipped the same day. LEAD-TIME Regular/stock (shaded items indicates stock) items will be shipped on same or next business day. Private label items will be shipped in three business day (subject to labels availability) where as all special items will be shipped in five business day. Orders will be processed at full package quantities only. SHORTAGE AND DAMAGED GOODS Any claims for loss or damage in transit must be made against the carrier by consignee. All other shortage claims must be made within 10 working days of date of invoice. DELIVERY TIMES Stock items 24 hours or less for non-stock items 5 workdays if material available. SELLING QUANTITY All items are sold in packages. The minimum order per item is one package. Custom and retail packaging available on request. 35 PRODUCT WARRANTY Extreme Abrasives warrants merchandise to be free from all defects. The end user assumes all other risks, if any. Our liability for any and all claims, damages, losses and injuries arising out of relating to its performance or breach of any agreement of sales of the products and the manufacture, sales, delivery, resale repair or use of any product shall not exceed the purchase price of the product. It will be our option to either refund or replace products. In no event shall Extreme Abrasives be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business, goodwill, incurring of any down time, destruction or loss of any capital goods, liability for personal injury, death, property damage and any other type of damages, whether similar to or different from this listing. It is our policy to cooperate with our customers by accepting the return of Extreme Abrasives products under the following conditions: EXTREME ABRASIVE S RETURN POLICY All returns must have a Return Goods Authorization number prior to return. If Extreme abrasives incorrectly fill your order, the merchandise is returnable upon authorization, via freight collect for full credit. The merchandise must be in original package and saleable. A written request, complete product and invoice information, quantity of items being return, no later than 12 months from date of purchase. Extreme abrasives reserves right to select only saleable items for return Special items custom made for customers can not be return. Return authorization numbers are valid for 45 days from the issue date and they should be clearly marked on all paper work. CUSTOMER REQUESTED RETURNS FOR REASON OTHER THAN SUPPLIERS ERORS Return freight must be prepaid by customer. Only merchandise listed in the current price list qualifies for return. Merchandise must be in Full Package quantities and in saleable condition. No part packages are allowed. Customer invoice date for product must be within 6 months of requested return date. Non stock, specials, and private labeled products are not returnable. Returns must be offset by a new order for the equivalent amount. Credit will be subject to a 15% re-stocking charge. No returns will be accepted after 180 days from date of invoice.
