2 The A202 Left Foot Gas Pedal Sure Foot was designed to offer you a left foot gas pedal which acts exactly like your vehicle s existing gas pedal. Sure Foot removable features a quickrelease base so the entire assembly can be removed and re-installed quickly and easily. To remove the gas pedal, simply loosen the thumbscrew and lift the entire main assembly off the base. To re-install sure foot removable, place the main assembly on the base (two locator pins helps you line up the holes) and tighten the thumbscrew.

4 Installation : Prep When putting the A202 in a vehicle be sure to speak with the vehicles owner and explain that holes must be drilled in the floor of the vehicle in order to do the installation. You should also find out the owners preference as to if they would like the pedal to be installed over their floor mats. An obstacle to installation can be the foot rest that is in many automatic vehicles where the clutch would be in standard transmission cars. In many vehicles this is a plastic mold that can be clipped out, but in others it may be part of the structure. This is also something that should be discussed with the vehicles owner.

5 Installation: Position There are 3 things to keep in mind when setting the position of the A202: 1. Make sure to position the left foot gas pedal the same distance from the brake as the right foot gas pedal. 2. Make sure to angle the left foot gas on the same plane as the right foot gas. 3. Be sure that you will not be drilling into any OEM lines when drilling in the set screws.

6 Installation: Base Plate Caution: Be sure to know where wires, cables, and air ducts are before you drill holes in the floor of the vehicle. Once you have your desired position remove the main assembly from the base plate. You can then use the four set screws to anchor it into place.

7 Installation: Reattach the Main Body Once you have the base plate anchored down you can then reattach the main body and secure it. It is then time to position the roller arm and the left foot gas pedal (LFGP).

8 Installation: Final Position (Roller) The final positioning of the roller arm can be done in two steps: 1. Use an Allen key to loosen the rocker arm washer and proceed to position the roller arm. 2. Tighten down the rocker arm washer. Test the travel of the roller to ensure that it will stay on the pedal when depressed and that you will be able to achieve full acceleration. If necessary use an alternate hole for the roller itself and test again.

9 Installation: Final Position LFGP Use a ½ socket to adjust the LFGP. Once the two bolts are loose you can adjust distance from the from the brake pedal and the angle of the LFGP. The goal is to adjust the LFGP so that it is the mirror image of the right foot gas pedal. When you have achieved the desired position retighten the bolts. Be sure to get customer feedback as they may have preferences as to how the LFGP is positioned.

10 Installation: Pedal Guard Use the clamping bracket to attach the pedal guard. Once you have tighten the bolts down, position the brace so that it sits against the fire wall. Cut off any access brace that it protruding outward.
