5 LUBRICATION - OIL PSI SWITCHES Oil Pressure Switch 1/8-27 NPTF Part Number Specifications PSI Normally-Closed Switch S 3-5 PSI Normally-Closed Switch PSI Normally-Closed Switch PSI Normally-Closed Switch PSI Normally-Open Switch Normally-closed oil pressure switch is used to activate items such as an alarm or warning light if oil pressure drops to a predetermined PSI level. Normally-open oil pressure switch can be used to activate items such as an hour meter when oil pressure reaches a predetermined PSI level. OIL DRAIN PLUG Tapered Thread Straight Thread Models 54 and 61 engines are built with either a 3/8 tapered thread or M14 straight threaded oil drian plugs. *M54 and M61 to obtain correct Oil Drain verify weather engine has metric or SAE oil drain port Seal is accomplished via metal-to-metal wedging Seal is accomplished via use of O-ring, seal or bonded washer 5
