Nuova Contessa Chairs have been designed and tested for users weighing up to 300 lbs and meet ANSI/BIFMA requirements. Warranted for 24/7 application (see for details) Nuova Contessa Chairs are equipped with casters intended for use on carpeted surfaces. Use of these casters on hard surfaces could result in unexpected rolling and tipping. Casters designed for use on hard surfaces are available. 3 work chairs nuova contessa adjustment features & instructions SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT BACK TILT ADJUSTMENT RIGHT Seat height can be adjusted by lifting the lever at the front of the right armrest. When this lever is lifted, the weight of the body will cause the seat to lower, and releasing it stops the seat at the desired height. Lifting the lever with no weight on the seat allows it to rise. LEFT When the chair back is at the desired angle, press the lever once to lock it in position. Pressing the lever again frees the chair back. 4D ARM-WIDTH, DEPTH, PIVOT & HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT To adjust the width of the 4D arms, grab the arm pad on both sides and push to the left or to the right to the desired position. Simultaneously pivot the arm pad inward or outward to the desired angle. Arm pad depth can be controlled by grabbing the pad and sliding it forward or backward. To adjust the arm height, press the button below either arm rest to raise or lower it to the desired position. BACK TENSION ADJUSTMENT SEAT DEPTH ADJUSTMENT Turning the grip found under the left side of the seat limits the back tilt travel and locks the back. Travel is limited on 3 positions with back lock in the upright position. Lifting the slide levers under both sides of the seat allows it to be adjusted forwards and backwards.

4 nuova contessa adjustment features & instructions (continued) LUMBAR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT The lumbar height-adjustment levers can be found on either side of the chair back frame. The height of the lumbar support can be adjusted by sliding it up and down. Lumbar responds uniquely to user s back curve depth and pressure.
