While Adura with their patented SinkPAD TM technology offers a broad range of 2x6 sized engines populated with the latest generation of emitters, also the LED brands like Osram, Lumileds and a further score of market leaders have aimed clearly for this platform. The CoolBlock LX-02-2x6 is standard foreseen from all the needed mechanical options, for mounting of the boards, the lenses, the cable pass-through and the final fixation in your enclosure. LED module mounting patterns The 2x6 LED engines consist of 12 high power emitters placed on a rectangle board of 146.6x45mm. Typically these engines produce between 3000lm and 5000lm, depending on the chosen driving current. Lifespan for these high power engines is a perfect thermal conducticvity of the carrier board. indicator marks overview MechaTronix recommends the use of a high thermal conductive interface between the LED module and the LED cooler. Either thermal grease, a thermal pad or a phase change thermal pad thickness mm is recommended. Thermal pads or phase change thermal pads can be preapplied from MechaTronix. In the mean time they offer a wide range of lenses, both in PMMA as in Silicone, for higher temperatures, all compatible with the 2x6 values. 7 Options Modular / Multi-Heat Sink 1. Place heat sinks in this way that L is next to R. 2. Place 2 CoolConnect Inter-01 in the middle of 2 CoolBlock LX while align its grooves with dots on heat sinks to ensure correct threading. 3. Turn 2 CoolConnect Inter-01 simultaneously to tighten heat sink connection.
