Universal Interface The ASWI-X allows the user to retain the use of their steering wheel or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit.

2 Universal: Steering Wheel Control Interface Keep Steering Wheel Controls with Aftermarket Head Unit Axxess introduces its new line of steering wheel interfaces designed by Pacific Accessory Corporation (PAC). These interfaces are designed to allow the user to retain a vehicle s factory equipped steering wheel or rear seat audio controls when replacing the factory head unit. Universal Interface The ASWI-X allows the user to retain the use of their steering wheel or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit. The ASWI-X also retains the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles. The SWI-X has non-volatile memory, which keeps all programming in memory even if the vehicle battery is disconnected. The ASWI-X covers 95% of the vehicles produced from 1986 to present. Works with Pioneer and Sony radios with wired remote inputs. The ASWI-PS also retains the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles. Assign the buttons on the steering wheel to any of the 9 specific Pioneer functions. The ASWI-PS has a non-volatile memory, which retains all programming, even if the vehicle battery is disconnected. Great for convertibles, unlike the ASWI-X, the ASWI-PS is not affected by direct sunlight due to its direct connection. Note for Sony radios: Will only work on Sony radios that have an input for the RM-X2S, RM-X3S or RM-X4S wired remotes.
