6 Accessories for Hot Plates and Stirrers Temperature Controller The Corning temperature controller can be used with Corning hot plates (models PC-400 and PC-600) and hot plate/stirrers (models PC-420 and PC-620). A simple plug-and-use socket is on the back of the hot plate for quick setup. The temperature controller accessory enables precise temperature control and monitoring. With its durable Teflon coated probe, the controller is practical for a wide variety of applications. Optional temperature controller ±2 C at 80 C + 1%/10 C, after 30 minutes Temperature Controller Wireless Remote Control This convenient accessory is perfect for times when it s not possible to be near the hot plate/stirrer or control it directly. The remote control uses infrared technology to control your hot plate/stirrer from up to two meters away, even if the hot plate/stirrer is inside a hood. A digital display of the hot plate/stirrer knob settings allows precise repeatability, and is useful for establishing and following standard procedures. The wireless remote can be used with PC-400, PC-410, PC-420, PC-600, PC-610, and PC-620 units. Support Rods Corning s 200/400/600 Series hot plates, 210/410/610 Series stirrers and 220/420/620 Series hot plate/stirrers are designed to accommodate a screw-in support rod accessory at their base.
