Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of a Barnstead NANOpure Infinity UV module upgrade kit. This upgrade kit will allow you to upgrade your existing NANOpure base unit to a NANOpure Infinity UV system or your existing NANOpure UF unit to a NANOpure UV/UF system. The NANOpure Infinity UV system was designed to produce water with less than 1 ppb organics and a resistivity of up to 18.3 megohm-cm. It will provide water that is ideal for your most critical organic determinant analysis including low wavelength H.P.L.C., gas chromatography, GC/ MS, IC & T.O.C analysis. The UV lamp also maintains a bacterial free environment within the system. The NANOpure Infinity UV/UF is a water purification system designed to provide Nuclease (RNase and DNase), DNA free, pyrogen-free, low TOC, high resistivity, reagent grade water that exceeds ASTM Type I, CAP and NCCLS Type I standards. It uses a four-stage deionization process combined with a UV oxidation, a 10,000 molecular weight cutoff ultrafilter and a 0.2 micron filter to polish suitable feed water (potable tap, distilled, deionized, or reverse osmosis) to produce pyrogen-free (<0.001 Eu/ml), low TOC (<3.0 ppb) water with a resistivity of up to 18.3 megohm-cm. Water resistivity is continuously monitored by a resistivity cell and displayed on a digital display. The NANOpure Infinity UV/UF is designed to automatically clean the ultrafilter by flushing water through the filter for one minute every 24 hours. The water is sent to drain. Operation Manuals for your upgraded system have been included with this kit. Please select the appropriate manual for your new system and read the instructions carefully to ensure that you receive maximum benefit from the NANOpure Infinity system. Figure 1 NANOpure Infinity 6
