Access Equipment TBD s range of line maintenance access solutions is designed and developed especially for aircra ramp maintenance engineers to assist in safe and efficient operations in all weather conditions. Line Maintenance Equipment Efficient and effective products manufactured for the line maintenance engineer. TBD understand the problems encountered by line maintenance engineers, o en working in challenging climatic conditions with limited personnel, where routine, ad hock maintenance and repair can be required at short notice and in limited timescales. It is through working closely with line maintenance engineers on a variety of different aircra that TBD can offer its latest range of line and base maintenance equipment. Due to the challenges and the constraints o en placed on equipment storage on stand the TBD products have proven very popular. Our products are flexible and manoeuvrable allowing access into awkward areas on multi-aircra types, moved very quickly by a single person. Capacity on access equipment is generally 2 persons to allow safe operation and less manual handling problems. Units are also towable to allow quick deployment from one stand to another. The aim of the equipment is to ensure operators always have the appropriate tools to safely carry out all operations. The equipment must assist in allowing the operator to carry out checks in a safe and efficient manner. Reduced time in obtaining and positioning equipment gives the aircra the best possible chance of leaving on time or minimising any delay. Please contact us if further information is required. 6 7

Tooling The TBD range of range of ramp equipment tooling includes a range of oxygen/nitrogen service trolleys, wheel change dollies and service trailers and mobile workshop trailers. The range is designed to be user friendly and durable and will aid in the efficient provision of line maintenance operations. Wheel and Brake Change Dolly The TBD Wheel and Brake Change Dolly facilitates both the removal and transport of an aircra wheel to and from the hub. Rollers aid in positioning by allowing the wheel to be rotated when offered up and the hydraulic pump/cylinder system enables accurate height adjustment with minimum effort. Additional a achments enable the unit to be re-configured to support and li brakes off the aircra once the wheel has been removed. All straps for securing the wheel and li ing the brakes are included with the unit and specified heavy duty castors with directional lock swivel heads make manoeuvring much easier. 16 17
Wheel Change Trailer The TBD Wheel Change Trailer comes equipped with a hot dip galvanised chassis and base panels to resist corrosion and scuffing and abrasion from wheels / tools. The inside of the container is split into two main areas-rear for 2x aircra wheels (accommodating largest wide body aircra wheels) and the front for support equipment (TBD Wheel Change Dolly, jack and brake cradle / jib). The front section incorporates a storage box for smaller tools used during wheel / brake changes. (NB if Hose Reel cover option is included this box is relocated inside the trailer). The floor is designed so that all items are stored in designated positions and are prevented from moving during transit. The container is accessed from two separate doors that fold down to act as ramps. The rear door gives access to the wheel storage section of the container and the side door to the tool storage area. Both doors are spring balanced to minimise operator effort in raising / lowering. The drawbar braking system is deactivated when a ached to a vehicle, and automatically activated when raised or le lowered preventing runaway. When raised the draw bar can be locked up to prevent unauthorised use. Both doors are also lockable. The unit height is set to enable safe travel through terminal tunnels. Mobile Servicing Trailer Workshop The mobile servicing trailer is designed to provide a self contained mobile workshop for engineers either on the apron or on dispersed parking areas. The unit as standard features it s own diesel powered AC generator, air compressor and air lines. Internally it is fi ed out with a full length bench for maintenance tasks and lighting to allow inspection of removed components. Additional options such as solar lighting, LED inspection lighting and additional cabinets are available on request. The trailer is accessed from two separate doors that lower to act as ramps. When raised the draw bar can be locked up to prevent unauthorised use. Access is via a large single drop down ramp which allows items to be loaded and unloaded with ease. The access ramp/door is spring balanced to minimise operator effort in raising and lowering. 18 19
