Push-Pull Self-Latching Connection System Drawing Specification Engaging The self-latching system allows the connector to be mated by simply pushing the plug into the receptacle. Latched Once firmly latched, connection cannot be broken by pulling on the cable or any other component part other than the outer release sleeve. Disengaging When required, the connector is disengaged by a single axial pull on the outer release sleeve. This first disengage the latches and then withdraws the plug from the socket. 3 / 36

1. Put the wire through bend relief1, collet nut2,and collet in order and then solder it to insulator5. 2. Install the two pieces of retaining ring4 onto wire-soldered insulator5, pay attention that the window of retaining ring should correspond with the protrusion of the insulator 5 3. Install the wires into collet3 in a correct position, pay attention that the channel of collet should correspond with insulator protrusion. 4. Push insulator5, retaining ring4 and collet 3 into the plug assembly6, pay attention that the protrusion of retaining ring should cope with channel inner plug. 5. Tighten the collet nut2 onto plug assembly6. 6. Wear bend relief1 on the step of collet nut. Plug of S series connector 1. Get the cable through collet nut1 collet2and split insert carrier3 in order, then solder it to the insulator subassy4 orderly. 2. Slide the split insert carrier3 to the insulator subassy4, make sure the heave of split insert carrier3 mate with the slot of insulator subassy4, then push collet2 to the right position of cable. 3. Push the assembled collet2split insert carrier3 and insulator subassy4 into the outer shell5. 4. Screw collet nut1 into the outer shell5 tightly. 35 / 36
Plug of K series connector 1. Get the cable through sleeve1 collet nut2 collet3 flexible gasket4and earthing cone5 in order, then solder it to the corresponding contacts of insulator subassy7 orderly. 2. Put the split insert carrier6 onto the insulator subassy7, make sure the heave of split insert carrier6 mate with the slot of insulator subassy7, then push the earthing cone5 flexible gasket4collet3 to the right position, assure the full sheath of cable insert the earthing cone5. 3. Slide the assembled insulator subassy7 into the outer shell8, make sure the slot of split insert carrier6 mate with the heave of outer shell8. 4. Screw the collet nut2 to the outer shell8 tightly. 5. Put the sleeve1 to the collet nut2. 36 / 36
