Frequently Asked Questions I know that I have more cars coming to me that are on trains, why are they not displayed? The cars that are displayed are those cars currently on a train that are scheduled to arrive within 48 hours of the current time. How do I order in cars to locations not listed in my locations pick list? To add locations to your "Locations" picklist, click on the "Update your personal location list" link. Highlight the locations you wish to add from the Available Stations list and move them to your Selected Stations list. Click Save, then Finish Why are certain loaded cars that are consigned to me not appearing on the Order in Railcars page? Only loaded cars consigned to you that are located in a CN serving yard and constructively placed (in CP status) are available for order in. All empties consigned to you that are located in a CN serving yard are available for Order in What is the cut-off time? The cutoff represents the time you need to order in your cars to have the cars placed for the switch date/time shown Why do I have to select my order in track at the top of the page? To accurately display the switch window and cut-off, the destination track must first be identified. Why do multiple tracks appear in my Order in Track(s) pick list selection? Destination tracks that have the same switch window and cut-off are grouped together. This way, if you have more than one track you are ordering cars in to, and they have the same switch service, you only have one Order in Track selection to make. 34
