Figure 1. Marel Logo Screen This is an easy operation soft touch screen, do not use sharp object, use finger only when you need to operate this. - 3 -
Figure 2. The Main Operation Screen Here the monitoring temperatures of the liquid media in the contact freezer plate. The temperature can be calibrated in the servicing page. Also monitoring and start/stop conveyor and cooling fans. The thin film of food-grade plastic product conveyor belt time can be preset to boost the quality and the capacity. The timing can be adjust from minimum ~ ma ximum seconds. Conveyor and cooling fan can be start/stop here. - 4 -
Figure 3. The Main Operation Screen Continue This page will allow the user to turn on the freezing or defrost valves. Please refer to the electrical schematic drawing for the valves connecting terminal points. The Crust freezer and spiral machine can be sequence stopped here. - 5 -
Figure 4. Password to go into setting page Different password are issued to different customer, please refer to Marel on the password. - 6 -
Figure 4.1. Setting page The temperature monitor feedback can be offset here. Procedure on offsetting is conduct using a calibrated temperature probe measuring the target room and offset the different. The display will change accordingly on the operation page Defrost Duration time cab be adjusted here. - 7 -

Figure 5.1. Service Page WARNING! Do Not Change the Motor Data!! Changing of motors data will affect the performance of the machine. This setting should only be set by qualified service personnel! The tunnel belt movement of left-right (side way) is controlled by a compensation actuator to ensure the belt is not shift out to the side way perimeter. This design concept is automatic and is motorized with a closed-loop system with two left-right sensors limiting this movement. In this page, it allow the maximum movement limitation of the actuator to be preset with the user move the actuator to lower or higher position and saved its position. There are two forward and backward sensors that determined this left-right movement. When the forward sensor is activated during belt moving, it will turn on the actuator for this preset time. The actuator will turn off for a fix time called forward off time. Then, the controller will check for the status of the sensor, if the forward s sensor still active it will continue the correction motion. This loop of checking and belt correction will continue until the sensor is turn off or the actuator is at it limited end position. When the belt is in the safe position range no correction movement will be take place. Same principle will be applied to the backward sensor for the belt right side movement control. - 10 -
