HUDSON TECHNOLOGIES S Chiller dehydration & decontamination (online & offline) Refrigerant moisture reduction (online & offline) Rust and particulate reduction Hermetic burnout decontamination Residue and particulate removal & decontamination Oil logged chiller decontamination Chiller decontamination including elimination of mineral oil OTHER SERVICES Refrigerant recovery Refrigerant/oil sampling & analysis Refrigerant reclamation Cylinder maintenance Lithium Bromide recovery, disposal & analysis Glycol recovery, disposal & analysis SF6 recovery PRODUCTS Refrigerant sales Refrigerant buyback

HERMETIC BURNOUT CLEANUP Hermetic motor burnout is one of the most time consuming and expensive repairs chiller owners ever face. If the contaminants are not thoroughly removed, a costly secondary burnout becomes more likely. Recovers and reclaims your refrigerant at benchmark speeds up to 6,000 lb/hr using our unique and proprietary ZugiBeast at your job site Decontaminates centrifugal screw or reciprocating chillers in hours not days Removes contaminants as the refrigerant circulates throughout the system using the ZugiBeast s unique on site reclamation capabilities Decreases the need for cleanup kits, extra filter cores and suction dryers Minimizes the chance of a second premature burnout

CHILLERS DAMAGED BY RUPTURED TUBES Water can get into refrigerant from ruptured evaporator/condenser tubes, leaking tube sheets, tube leaks or ice trapped in refrigeration circuits. The smallest amount can lead to expensive repairs. Even more costly is when moisture ingresses into compressors and motors. Recovers and reclaims your refrigerant at benchmark speeds up to 6,000 lb/hr using our unique and proprietary ZugiBeast at your job site Minimizes expensive water damage to compressors and motors Removes all water and other contaminants from the refrigerant using the ZugiBeast s unique on site reclamation capabilities Minimizes down time with fast response and rapid evacuation of the system Salvages the maximum amount of refrigerant, saving on the cost of replacement refrigerant

HIGH PRESSURE CHILLER CONVERSIONS When chillers are being converted to operate with HFC refrigerants, building managers and service contractors are looking for ways to reduce the cost of this expensive and time consuming procedure. Technicians at Hudson developed an innovative method to speed up the process and save money at the same time. Speeds conversion of centrifugal, screw or reciprocating chillers to R-134a Recovers and reclaims your CFC or HCFC refrigerants at benchmark speeds up to 6,000 lb/hr using our unique and proprietary ZugiBeast at your job site Removes all traces of mineral oil using the ZugiBeast s unique on site capabilities Saves money by eliminating the need for costly POE oil change outs

LARGE SYSTEM RECOVERY When looking to convert existing equipment to alternate refrigerants, plant managers are confronted with the issue of time. Downtime can be extremely costly and every minute equipment is down results in a loss of production. Hudson s unique and proprietary ZugiBeast ensures that even the largest conversions can be completed in the minimum possible time. Rapid response puts liquid overfeed system repair ahead of schedule High speed on-site recovery speeds conversion to R-134a Removes all traces of mineral oil using the ZugiBeast s unique on site capabilities Online dehydration/moisture reduction removes moisture with no downtime

CROSS CONTAMINATED REFRIGERANTS Refrigerant that has become cross contaminated with chemicals or other refrigerants is very expensive to dispose of. Hudson s unique and proprietary ZugiBeast equipment recovers refrigerant on site. The recovered refrigerant is then removed from your job site by Hudson and subsequent full separation of contaminated refrigerant occurs in our processing facilities. Removes all traces of mineral oil using the ZugiBeast s unique on site capabilities Separates cross contaminated refrigerant saving you the cost of disposal fees for mixed refrigerants Online dehydration and moisture reduction of your system removes moisture with no operating downtime

CHILLER MOISTURE REDUCTION & DEHYDRATION Moisture reductions can be performed on wet systems that are not completely saturated with water. This service will prevent the need for costly, full-blown dehydrations. In the event that a full blown dehydration is required, Hudson s service can cut the time required by weeks with the help of our unique and proprietary ZugiBeast. The single most significant result is the removal of residual contaminants, which would be left in the system when using traditional methods such as vacuum pumps and air-drying. Removes residual contaminants using the ZugiBeast s unique on site capabilities Cuts weeks off the dehydration process Reduces chiller downtime Rapidly dehydrates air-cooled units Minimizes the chance of rust or corrosion Frees your technicians for other profitable work, thereby increasing your service revenues

RUST & PARTICLE DECONTAMINATION With so many ways for moisture to enter a system, rust and related particulate contamination has always been a problem for chiller and refrigeration systems. Tubing with rust buildup can degrade a chillers performance so much that it must be shut down. Will dissolve rust and other particulates from all tube surfaces, even in newly enhanced system designs In many cases eliminates the time and expense of re-tubing Regains lost system capacity Restores heat transfer efficiency

SF6 (SULFUR HEXAFLUORIDE) RECOVERY SF6 is widely used as an insulating and arc quenching gas in medium and high voltage transformers. As equipment ages, it is being repaired or replaced with more efficient equipment which typically uses 1/3 the quantity of SF6. T`his creates a need to recover the SF6 for recycling or disposal. Ambient temperature and equipment construction both have effects on the difficulty of SF6 recovery. FOR SF6 SERVICE Recovers and reclaims your SF6 at your job site Minimizes down time with fast response and rapid evacuation of SF6 systems Recovers the maximum amount of SF6 gas possible Provides complete handling, recycling and disposal documentation for use in your EPA reporting
