FIRM Activities ReMaTec 2015 FIRM will invite all members to spend 4 hrs on an technical economical workshop during ReMaTec 2015 The content of the workshop: 1. Analysis of damages of combustion engines Hans Müller, Motorenschverständiger 2. process assessmentof engine remanufacturing University of Bayreth, Stefan Butzer 3. Importance of quality management systems and certification DIN/ISO 9000, IRIS/ECM, CLEPA remanufacturing standard; Legal effects on CE certification of industrial engines remanufacturing; New emission standard Stage V. - FIRM, Clemens Ortgies The event will have a workshop character, means presentation, discussion, conclusion, action plan. Target participants will be european engine remanufacturers management and technical/quality staff. The workshop will be open for all engine remanufacturesrs, so that we could get more members, but there will be no special advertisement outside FIRM communication. I suggest that rematec should show the program short before ReMaTec on the website and on posters during ReMaTec. The workshop would be free for members, we will have a registration at the entrance and we will ask the participants about their organization but we would not set up a fee for non members of national organizations. FIRM will promote the visit of ReMaTec by comunication through the national organisations.
Colaboration FIRM - APRA APRA/FIRM cooperation Memorandum of understanding FIRM, the Federation of Engine Remanufacturers and APRA, the Automotive Parts Remanufacturing Association, European division, hereby agree to cooperate and to establish a comprehensive strategic alliance. This alliance will carry out joint actions at EU and national level in order to raise the profile of the two organisations, to raise awareness on the issues of common interest amongst the EU legislators and other stakeholders just to name a few. The common actions will consist of (the list is non-exhaustive) Lobbying activities Networking (CLEPA, VDA), Relationship building and creation of interest sharing alliances.
