Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the audio unit and navigation system if equipped then write down the radio station presets. 2. 3. Remove the front passenger s under cover (three clips and two pins). 5. Remove the driver s dashboard side panel (three clips, four retaining tabs, and one pin). 3 S FRONT 012801AE 4 RETAINING TABS 2 S 012702BE 4. Remove the passenger s dashboard side panel (three clips, four retaining tabs, and one pin). Routing the Ambient Light Harness 6. Using isopropyl alcohol on a shop towel, thoroughly clean the fuse case where the fuse label will attach. Attach the 2A fuse label to the fuse case on the ambient light harness. 7. Plug the ambient light harness 12-pin connector into the driver s fuse box. VIEW FROM FRONT 9. Install the ambient light to the hole in the dashboard as shown. FUSE BOX Plug in here. FUSE BOX Turn. 12- CONNECTOR 8. Secure the ambient light harness to the vehicle harness with one wire tie. 012803AE BRAKE PEDAL 10. 12. Secure the ambient light harness to the vehicle frame and vehicle harness with two wire ties. FRAME 14. Route the ambient light harness along the vehicle harness, and secure it to the vehicle harness with two wire ties. BRAKE PEDAL CONNECTOR 012903AE 13. Route the ambient light harness through the center console, and secure it to the vehicle harness with three wire ties. SIDE SIDE 020111AE 15. Route the ambient light harness along the vehicle harness, and to the blower motor. Secure the ambient light harness to the vehicle harness with two wire ties. 16. Secure the ambient light harness to the vehicle harness with three wire ties. OPENING 18. Reinstall the passenger s dashboard side panel. 2- CONNECTOR 3 S 020204AE 17. Install the ambient light to the passenger s under cover as shown. Turn. 020206BE 19. Move the passenger s under cover near the dashboard, plug the ambient light harness 2-pin connector into the ambient light, and reinstall the passenger s under cover. 20. Check that all wire harness and cables are routed properly and that all connectors are plugged in. 21. Reinstall all removed parts. 22. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery. 23. Enter the anti-theft code for the audio unit and navigation system if equipped and reset the radio station presets. 24.
