James Mini Moke McKenzie storage: offers By Bill forth. Fisher More of his mini reconstruction. Moke em if you got em. Last month Clancy Schmidt needed a place to store his equally lovely early 60 s Mini Moke. I have a house with the 20 x25 garage, and the price was right. 10 wheels. It was delivered early a.m. on his trailer, then he left for his weekly mental meeting somewhere in Topeka. A Mini-exam? Since it only measures 10 x 55. I figured it would make a decent storage platform while I complete my home restoration. The original Mini Moke started out @ 850 cc s and grew to 1275cc s. This one holds 12 cartons of STUFF in the garage corner.! Page 4

Shots from Queens, NY. By Charles Linn Hi Club. Recently Mary and I took a trip to New York City to visit the kids and friends. We were staying with friends in Queens--which is is quite different than midtown where all the skyscrapers are. Lots of old neighborhoods, row houses from the early 1900s, stores, warehouses, and garages, parking lots and the like. Anyhow, next to tour friends' rowhouse is the storage lot for a collector car company called Gullwing Motor Cars. ( Gullwingmotorcars.com ). Although the Austin Healey 3000 is interesting, what caught my eye was the row of British cars we don't see around here much-- at least a dozen Rolls and Bentleys were parked among the odd Mercedes and Porches, and other rare cars. Yes, they're parked in the weather, some have obviously been there for years. Breaks my heart! They are a bit hard to see in the photos, but I thought I would send them along just because they're fun. Maybe you can use some of them for the newsletter. If you like, pick a few out, feel free to crop them as you wish. I've never seen anything like it and I doubt that I ever will again.--charles Linn! Page 7
