RT FlexiPanel TM Tank and Vessel ing Panel Application... Metallic Tank and Vessel ing The RT FlexiPanel is a self-contained, high performance flexible heating panel designed specifically for use on metallic tanks and vessels. Designed to provide heat outputs at 3100 Watts per square metre or less, the RT FlexiPanel distributes heat evenly over the entire panel surface. The low profile flexible design of the panel permits rapid, trouble-free installation using the mounting kit available from Thermon. To ensure multiple flow paths for electrical current to pass, the RT FlexiPanel utilises a parallel circuit design based on a stamped high temperature alloy heating element. This design eliminates the burnout potential common with series wire-based designs. The rugged construction of the RT FlexiPanel includes a tough metal jacket that provides mechanical protection during handling and installation. The panel s heating element is further protected from vibration and moisture by sandwiching it in a heat-laminated layer of silicone rubber that provides cushion and a watertight seal. RT FlexiPanels are approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) and hazardous (classified) areas per U.S. standards. Ratings 1... RTF FlexiPanel TM Tank and Vessel ing Panel Application... Nonmetallic Tank and Vessel ing The RTF FlexiPanel is a self-contained, high performance flexible heating panel designed specifically for use on fibreglass and plastic tanks or vessels and for metallic tanks or vessels containing high viscosity or temperature-sensitive fluids. Designed to provide heat outputs at 1085 Watts per square metre or less, the RTF FlexiPanel distributes heat evenly over the entire panel surface to maintain stable temperatures. The low profile flexible design of the panel permits rapid, trouble-free installation using the mounting kit available from Thermon. To ensure multiple flow paths for electrical current to pass, the RTF FlexiPanel utilises a parallel circuit design based on a stamped high temperature alloy heating element. HT Module Hopper ing Module Application... Hopper and Chute ing The HT hopper heating module is a rugged, self-contained high performance heater designed for reliable operation on surfaces prone to vibration. Designed to provide heat outputs up to 4650 Watts per square metre depending on the application, the HT module distributes heat evenly over the entire panel surface. To ensure optimal performance, each system is engineered by Thermon based on the heating requirements of the application. A parallel circuit design, based on a stamped high temperature INCONEL heating element, provides the HT heating module with multiple flow paths for electrical current to pass. This design eliminates the burnout potential common with series wire-based designs. Protection of the heating element from vibration is achieved with a cushion layer of insulation that also directs the flow of heat from the module to the surface being heated. The rugged construction of the module includes a tough 20-gauge aluminized steel shell that provides mechanical protection during handling, installation and operation. Weld splatter, rust or oil will not affect the integrity or performance of the heater. The low profile design of the panel permits rapid, trouble-free installation. HT hopper heating modules are approved for use in ordinary (nonclassified) and hazardous (classified) areas per U.S. standards. Ratings 1...
