Garage Closure Recoating Summer Construction Future Construction Projects Campus Center Office Closure Parking Permit Renewal Student Parking Ambassador Survey Parking Services - Update Jonathan King, Parking Services Manager

Campus Center parking garage upper decks 2-6 are scheduled to close completely for two weeks. All levels (2-6) of the garage will be closed starting Monday, May 15th. Levels 3 (entrance level), 4 (exit level), 5 and 6 will reopen on Tuesday, May 30th. Level 2 will remain closed until Monday June 6th. Garage Closure Recoating of Parking Decks

South entrance/exit to lot 11 is being re-paved this week. Lot 13 re-graded and jungle pushed back to accommodate high demand in that area. Will remain a dirt lot for now. Lot 25 (late summer early fall) south entrance and metered area to be repaved. DOER solar related grant of approximately $100k to help cover some of expense. Replace both pay stations at Robsham Visitor s Center. Both stations are old and we can not get a service agreement for them anymore. Also, new stations will have alpha numeric key pad needed for License Plate Recognition. Summer Construction

Replace pay station in Lot 64 next to Recreation Center. Rubberized crack sealing in multiple lots across campus again this year. Removal of islands in Lot 21 and in Lot 49 Windmill Lane. Islands get beat up by snow plows. Difficult to repair and difficult for Landscaping to maintain. Summer Construction

Lot 12 Not going to be paved this year. Waiting on permits and design. Designer has been hired. Design will break off a piece of Lot 12 to make a purple lot for the CHC residence. Finish paving Lot 25. Design requested for Lot 33. We need to have something in our back pocket. Future Construction

Proposed purple lot location: Future Construction

License Plate Recognition we are almost there. The last bit of haggling over the PO is almost done. We hope to have the vehicle and software up and running within a month to month and a half. Access and Revenue Control We had several meetings with our software supplier over the past couple of weeks. They are preparing a detailed quote to be delivered in about two weeks. We have set a budget of $500k not to exceed. Projects

We have made the decision to close the Campus Center Parking Office located just off level 2 of the parking garage. The last day of operations in that office will be May 12th. Over-the-counter transactions have dropped off dramatically with the addition of TPP, CPP and because of our relatively new on-line hosted permit purchasing and renew environment. Also following the recommendations made after our ADQUAD in 2014. Campus Center Office Closure

Permit renewal began Tuesday, April 11 and will close Friday, May 19th. Approximately 7,000 people will renew their parking permits during this time. Permit Renewal

Student Parking Ambassadors were tasked to create and send a survey to our comparable and local schools to see how we compare on several parking topics. Senior Brandon Gilmour lead the team Student Parking Ambassador Survey
