About Us ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe has two seamless mills serving the Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) market. ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Ostrava Located in the East of the Czech Republic, ArcelorMittal Ostrava s facilities include two seamless tube mills, heat treatment installations and facilities for threading and coating. Permanent emphasis is placed on quality and certification by renowned companies. The plant produces structural, line pipe, Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and boiler tubes in carbon and alloy steels. Outside diameters range from 21.3 to 273 mm with wall thicknesses between 2.3 and 25mm. Our facilities include a 16 Plug mill and a 20 Pilger mill with threading and heat treatment equipment.
Product Range We provide OCTG seamless pipes in accordance with API Standards, destined either for exploration activities, well completion or well production activities. We produce Casing & Tubing, Coupling stock & Couplings and Pup Joints according to API 5CT, according to all product specification levels. In addition, we provide solutions for High Collapse demand in accordance with API 5CT. We also have a test frame for full scale testing, in our OCAS R&D centre in Ghent, capable of testing up to CAL IV, according to API 5C5. General Conditions Dimension and mass tolerances Tolerances are offered in accordance with the API 5CT Standard. Heat Treatment We offer As Rolled, Normalized and Quenched & Tempered as prescribed in table C.3 of the API 5CT Standard. Testing & Inspection We perform all the standard testing required by API 5CT: Heat & Product analysis, Tensile test, Hardness test, Hardenability test, CVN impact test, SSC test according to ANSI-NACE and Hydrostatic test. Dimensional testing includes Diameter, Wall Thickness, Length, Drift test, Mass determination and Straightness. Standard NDE is also available: Ultrasonic, Flux Leakage, MPI & Eddy Current testing. Ends Finishing, Threads & Couplings Tubing and Casing can be supplied with a threaded end and phosphate coupling. Open threads are covered by thread protectors. Marking & Packing Marking is by paint or low stress stamping as per API 5CT, or according to customer request. Pipes are supplied with an optional, external, short-term anticorrosive varnish. Pipes are supplied as loose packed with aluminium tags for durability. Qualifications & Certifications Certificate of Authority to use the API monogram EN ISO 9001 & 14001, BS OHSAS 18001. 7
