AIRCOOLED V-COMPRESSORS LMF s Heavy Duty aircooled compressors for air and other gases are designed as two to five-stage units (in special cases six-stage units), with two to six single-acting, conventional, deep finned cylinders with capacities up to 5000 ltrs/min (180 cfm) and for pressures up to 450 bar (6525 psi). LMF compressor units can be fitted with either a manual control system or one that is fully automatic, depending on the operating conditions in each case. Thanks to their sturdy design, LMF compressors are suitable for both intermittent and continuous operation. They can also be used as booster units with elevated inlet pressure rates and final pressure rates up to 450 bar (6525 psi). AIRCOOLED HIGH SPEED BOXER LMF s aircooled high speed boxer compressors for air, natural gas, technical and industrial gases are designed for speeds up to 1800 rpm and a maximum power consumption of 100-1000 kw (136-1360 hp). The cylinders used are double acting or step cylinders with hardened inner surface. These compressor units provide smooth running characteristics and require low space due to their compact design with balanced-opposed arrangement.

COMPOUND COMPRESSOR SYSTEMS LMF compound compressor units are intended for use in all situations where little space is available, where weight must be kept to a minimum, but where high output capacities and high final pressures are required. This type of compressor is a combination of a screw compressor and a piston compressor, with a common prime mover diesel or electric - situated between them.

LMF compound compressors are available as stationary units for on/off-shore operation, or as mobile units mounted on trucks or trailers. By covering a power range of up to 1150 kw (1600 hp), the compressor units provide final pressures of up to 400 bar (5800 psi) and output capacities from 24 m³/min (800 cfm) to 70 m³/min (2480 cfm). All LMF compressors bear the fruit of LMF s experience in having built more than 400 compound compressor units since 1980, for clients all over the world. WATERCOOLED V-COMPRESSORS LMF s watercooled compressors for air and other gases are designed as three to fivestage units (in special cases one, two or six-stage units) with capacities up to 25 m³/min (880 cfm) and for pressures up to 450 bar (6525 psi). The two to six cylinders can either be single-acting trunk piston cylinders, or step cylinders and double-acting cylinders with crossheads. In each stage, both the cylinder and the compressed gas are watercooled, either by means of an "open" system (continuous flow system) or a "closed circuit" (coolant circulating through heat exchanger). PROCESS GAS COMPRESSORS API 618 LMF process gas compressors meet the API 618 requirements and are used for gases and gas compositions in chemical and petrochemical processes as well as for boil-off gases, and in low-temperature applications. Specialized in package units - ready for operation LMF offers compressors with up to six compression stages, inlet capacities from less than 100 to 22000 m³/h (13000 cfm) and final pressure rates up to 250 bar (3600 psi) with oil-free compression as well as 450 bar (6525 psi) with oil lubricated cylinders.
