f Glue the hinges of the lids so that they remain open. You may want to use a pin when applying the glue so that you can apply a smaller amount with more control. g Drill a 2.5-mm hole in the center of each of the ports highlighted by arrows in the photograph. h Glue a dummy cannon into each of the holes that you drilled in the previous step. 331
i Repeat Steps g-h to place a further five dummy guns along the gun deck, so that there are a total of eight guns, as shown in the photo. j Locate the gun port at the stern of the ship and, as with the previous gun ports, drill a 2.5-mm hole in the center of the port and glue a dummy gun in place. k The photo shows how the assembly should look at this stage.
