7-1 SERVICING INFORMATION TROUBLESHOOTING ENGINE Complaint Symptom and possible causes Remedy Engine does not start, or is hard to start. Engine stalls easily. Noisy engine. Check the magneto and regulator/rectifier circuit connections, and make necessary adjustments to obtain specified charging operation. Replace the battery, and correct the charging system.
