CO 2 Emissions will have to decline by more than five per cent a year to give the world a 50/50 chance of keeping temperature rises below the 2 C threshold. Historic and future carbon dioxide emissions must remain below a total of 3,200 billion tonnes to make it likely temperature rises do not exceed 2 C. (Professor C. Le Quere Global Carbon Project)

CO 2 is supposed to convert to CO on the catalytic surface as one of the expected catalytic reactions taking place in optimized conversion reactors Most failures, trying to achieve high conversion rates at standard operational conditions, often were caused by uncontrolled side-reactions inhibiting the active structures resulting in lower conversions towards CH 4 and MeOH. Unicat & DTU had a first break-through of CO 2 conversion to CH 4 in 2014, providing extremely high conversion rates under normal/standard reaction conditions in one reaction step. (> 90% conversion) In 2015 the first stable convertor (lab/container kit scale) was developed for CO 2 conversion towards MeOH conversion rates > 90% in one reaction step were realized (incl recycling modus) In 2016 partnerships were concluded : H 2 production by Electrolysis, CO 2 /CO rich Off gas conversion to Fuels and NGCC Gas Cleaning systems.

Partnership Technologies Commercial Available Systems Fuel Production High value Gasoline and Gasoil Premium Liquid Fuels

Commercially available system units in different sizing (100-25.000 Nm 3 /h)

*Direct Fuel Production platform enables value creation by transforming flare gas, bio-gas, natural gas or natural gas liquids into Premium Diesel Fuel (+ partly High End Gasoline), which can be easily commercialized and transported to market. * Produced fuels are premium products that features high cetane, no sulfur and good lubricity, not comparable to biodiesel, but are true hydrocarbon diesel fuels that directly replace petroleum-based fuels. Unlike products coming from Fischer-Tropsch based technologies, the produced diesel fuels do not require further refining and upgrading. * When blended with petroleum based fuels, the Green Fuels will reduce engine emissions including nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter emissions.
