Everyone enjoyed this fabulous car collection and the antiques on the mezzanine. Thanks to Wally Wigand for arranging the visit to Meurer s and the great food at Moe s on 10. A fun afternoon of Feather Bowling is scheduled for Saturday April 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 at Bathe City Bistro, 75 Macomb, Mt. Clemens. Typically played in teams, the game will encourage camaraderie and competition as the wooden discs roll from side to side of the angled lane to their final feathery destination. The object is to roll the disc at the pigeon feather at the other end of the trough shaped lane and land the disc as close to the feather as possible. The cost of $11.00 per person will be collected by the club upon arrival at Bathe City and will include the Feather Bowling, Pizza and Salad. Please call or text JoAnn Rodriguez at 248-719-0160 or e-mail joannbill801@comcast.net by Wed April 19. The Southern Ontario Thunderbird Club will be hosting a Regional All Thunderbird Car Show on Sunday July 30, 2017, 11:00 to 3:00 at the Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village, 6155 Arner Townline, County Road 23, Kingsville, Ontario. This is a free event and is about 25 minutes from the bridge in Windsor. Website: www.sotbirdclub.org. This is not a planned WWTC event but we have received a special invitation to attend and should be a very enjoyable day. As a reminder you need a pass port or an enhanced driver s license to cross into Canada. Looking forward to a beautiful spring and getting behind the wheel of our 70 T-bird. So on May 21 st, 2017 each of the three large Thunderbird clubs are asking members and non-members alike to take their T-birds out of hibernation and someplace for the world to enjoy. Work or church, diner or coffee shop, on a family picnic, it doesn t matter. Use your car like it was used when it was brand new. Let others see it, ask questions about it. It s going to be all about the Thunderbird on May 21 st! This is not a WWTC event, but the three large T-Bird clubs CTCI (Classic Thunderbird Club International), VTCI (Vintage Thunderbird Club International) and ITC (International Thunderbird Club) are encouraging there members to participate in T-bird Appreciation Day. Get Those Thunderbirds out and show them off.
