Attach two (2) Nylon Basket Clips to Wire Utility Basket in accordance with separate installation guide (DU-UT-0002). Insert two (2) #8-32 x -/2'' PHMS and #8-32 hex nuts in Basket Clips but do not tighten at this time. 2. Slide Basket Clips over bottom end of Roll Stand Post and insert Post in center of Roll Stand Base (below left). Lay assembly on its side. 3. Using a /2'' [3mm] wrench, fasten Post to Base using one () 5/6-8 x '' HHCS, with 5/6 lock washer, and 5/6 flat washer (below right). Post Basket Clips (2) #8-32 x -/2'' PHMS (2) #8-32 Hex Nuts (2) Base 5/6 Flat Washer 5/6 Lock Washer 5/6-8 x '' HHCS 4. Installation Note: The Tilt Lever is a multi-position clamping lever that operates by lifting, rotating, and releasing the handle. 2. 7.0 Mounting the PPC-50, POC-53 or POC-55 Platform on the Roll Stand The PPC-50 platform requires a Mounting Adapter (provided) for mounting on the Roll Stand. The POC-53 and POC-55 platform have a 75 x 75mm mounting pattern on the rear and only requires M4 x 20mm screws (provided) for mounting on the Roll Stand. Procedures for both types of platform are included in this section. Mounting Adapter 2 M4 x 0mm Pan Head Machine Screw (PHMS) 8 3 M4 x 20mm PHMS 4 Phillips screwdriver (not provided). Mounting the PPC-50 Platform. Locate four (4) threaded mounting holes on rear housing (below left). 2. Fasten Mounting Adapter to PPC-50 with four (4) M4 x 0mm PHMS as shown below right. 3. Thread two (2) M4 x 0mm PHMS into two (2) upper holes on Mounting Adapter (below left). Leave /4'' [6 mm] of thread exposed to allow screws to fit into slots in VESA Mounting Plate. 4. Mounting the POC-53 and POC-55 Platforms. Thread two (2) M4 x 20mm PHMS into two (2) upper holes of the 75 x 75mm mounting pattern on the rear of the POC- 53 or POC-55 (below left). Leave /4'' [6 mm] of thread exposed to allow screws to fit into slots in VESA Mounting Plate. 2. Guide two (2) upper screws into slots in VESA Mounting Plate (below right). 8.0 Cable Management One () Cable Clip (below left) is provided for managing cables along Roll Stand Post. Place loose cables inside Clip and slide Clip onto Post (below right). Roll Stand Cable Clip Cable Clip Cables Slide onto Post 9.0 Adjusting Tilt and Tilt Tension Adjust tilt by loosening the Tilt Adjustment Lever (see Note below). Grasp the device and tilt to desired angle. Tighten Tilt Adjustment Lever to lock position. Adjust tilt tension by equally tightening or loosening two (2) Tilt Tension Screws with the 9/64'' hex wrench provided. Once overall tilt tension is set, use Tilt Adjustment Lever to fine tune/lock tilt position. Tilt Lever Tilt Tension Screws (2) Note: The Tilt Adjustment Lever is a multiposition clamping lever that operates by lifting, rotating, and releasing the handle. 0.0 Periodic Maintenance & Cleaning All fasteners associated with the mounting system should be inspected periodically and tightened as necessary. Cleaning the Mounting Assembly CAUTION: GCX makes no claims regarding the efficacy of the listed chemicals or processes as a means for controlling infection. Consult your hospital s infection control officer or epidemiologist. To clean or sterilize mounted devices or accessory equipment, refer to the specific instructions delivered with those products.. The mounting assembly may be cleaned with most mild, non-abrasive solutions commonly used in the hospital environment (e.g. diluted bleach, ammonia, or alcohol solutions). 2. The surface finish will be permanently damaged by strong chemicals and solvents such as acetone or trichloroethylene. 3. Steel wool or other abrasive material should never be used. 4. Damage caused by the use of unapproved substances or processes will not be warranted. It is recommended that you test any cleaning solution on a small area of the mounting assembly that is not visible to verify compatibility. 5. Never submerge or allow liquids to enter the mounting assembly. Wipe any cleaning agents off the mounting assembly immediately, using a water-dampened cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
