NEFIL SMARTDESIGN OVERVIEW: Using the ingeniously simple single lever control to operate the three main chair functions seat height, seat depth and back tilt are all operated from a single point of contact. The Nefil chair is packed full of features including smart Motion back technology, backrest rake adjustment, height-adjustable lumbar support, seat tilt, seat depth and bodyweight tension adjustments, optional headrest and pivoting armrests with height and slide adjustment. NEFIL SEATING INNOVATION For a full technical specification, please see page 14-15 OPTIONAL HEADREST The headrest can be tilted and height-adjusted to suit the user s individual requirements. SMART MOTION BACK Smart Motion Back Support provides automatic adjustment to give each user ideal back support whatever their spinal shape. The system works by having two pivot points on the rear of the chair which allows the back of the chair to change shape for any user. This also helps open up the user s diaphragm, distributing more oxygen into the bloodstream, oxygenating the brain and helps the user feel more alert. This can also help increase well-being and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal issues. LUMBAR SUPPORT The back of the Nefil is fixed with an integrated, rubber adjustable lumbar system. SEAT SLIDE & TILT This feature allows depth adjustment of the seat to accommodate the length of the user s legs and provides up to 5º independent forward tilt. SEAT HEIGHT Raise or lower the chair s seat height to fit the individual user s anthropometric measurements. FIVE-STAR BASE A choice of four aluminium five-star bases in polished, white or black finish. Nefil comes as standard with polished arched base but can be fitted with the Deluxe base on request. 8
TWIN-PIVOT MECHANISM This patented dual pivot technology offers more movement and constant support with minimal pressure on the underside of the thighs (first pivot point is located behind the user s knees and the second point under the ischial tuberosity). This encourages continuous supported body movement, therefore increasing blood circulation and reducing fatigue. An additional lock allows the user to recline in a range of positions. Dual spring engineering helps the user to find the perfect resistance for their weight, and delivers a smooth and comfortable recline action. ARMRESTS Height (8 position lock), width, angle and depth adjustable to allow forearms to rest comfortably whilst taking the weight off the shoulders. SINGLE LEVER MECHANISM Ingeniously simple single lever control to operate the seat height, depth, & tilt, and back tilt functions. TENSION CONTROL Adjusts back tension to allow the back to tilt comfortably supporting the user s body weight when reclining. 9
