5 DESIGNER JUSTUS KOLBERG Design is balance in relation to the human form In his early twenties, Justus Kolberg made his entrance into the world of industrial design. Where he, as a designer, saw the possibilities for optimal use of his creativity and technical expertise. His preference quickly leaned towards chairs. Not only because chairs are very personal, but also because there is an endless variety in possible shapes. He enjoys designing products which are in balance with the human form and are able to provoke emotion. To Kolberg, his biggest challenge was the backrest. A symbol for an elegant, friendly and businesslike office chair which offers comfort, user-friendliness and flexibility. Zinn fits Gispen well. Its technique is neatly integrated and therefore hidden to the eye.
