1. Purpose The ContiFI system is a user friendly and feature rich system which provides easy use for collecting inspection data and reporting it in a simple, effective format. Using the system allows us to: - Reduce vehicle downtime at service stations - Manage and analyse overall Conti360 fleets - Maximise the service life of our tyres With many other useful features such as excel export, auto app update and offline access to vehicles not yet inspected, the system enhances the way we look at vehicle data without it being a time consuming process. 2. Login Details www.contifi.co.uk Each fleet inspector, inspection administrator or customer will have a unique username and password to access the Database and the App. This is set up by a member of the Conti360 team or by whomever has trained you on the system. Fleet inspectors, tyre fitters and service provider administrators can request a login by contacting the Conti Head Office and answer any queries you may have. You can contact us on 01895 424 323. 3. Processing Downloading the App 1. Connect your phone or tablet to a 3G, 4G or WiFi connection. You will be able to see either 3G, 4G or the WiFi symbol at the top of your device. 2. Click on the Google Play Store on the application page or main menu of your device. Conti360 Fleet Services 4

3. Tap on the search bar and type in Conti360 for the app to come up. 4. Tap on the Install button for the device to download the app on to your device Conti360 Fleet Services 5

5. Once the application is installed, the app will appear in the App Menu. You can also click Open once the application is installed. You re ready! Conti360 Fleet Services 7

Android Processing To process a fleet inspection via android phone or tablet, follow these steps. Note: you MUST have a 3G, 4G or WiFi connection to log into the system for the FIRST time 1. Open up the application via the Apps menu Conti360 Fleet Services 8

2. Enter your username and password into the device. You will need an internet connection to log in. Once logged in, the device will keep you log in unless you log out of the app. Conti360 Fleet Services 9

3. First logging in, the app will prompt to update the app with the assigned contracts and fleet lists 4. The update will go through several stages and update all vehicles within the contracts on your device. An update gets carried out on the device automatically when you Submit Data through as well (See Page 40 Submit Data) Conti360 Fleet Services 10

5. Once updated, select New Inspection to start inspecting a vehicle. Conti360 Fleet Services 12

6. Select a Contract that you wish to start inspecting for (i.e. DHL, Co-Op, Cemex). Conti360 Fleet Services 13

7. Type the registration of the vehicle into the Registration box. This is a Partial Search Function meaning you can type in 3 characters of a registration and it finds the registration for you within that contract. Conti360 Fleet Services 14

8. When you select the vehicle you want to inspect, the app will show you the necessary data regarding this vehicle; the Sub Contract (if applicable), when it was last inspected and the vehicle configuration. Conti360 Fleet Services 15

9. If a vehicle is not on our fleet list, a pop up will appear saying that this vehicle is currently not on the fleet list and if you would like to report this. This comes up in the reporting later on and the customer to update on whether these vehicles actually belong to them or not. Conti360 Fleet Services 16

10. If a vehicle is already inspected in the same month, the device will prompt you to confirm that this vehicle has already been inspected in this period. Move on to the next vehicle if this comes up. Conti360 Fleet Services 17

11. If the vehicle is not inspected in that same month and is on the fleet list, you can then check the vehicle configuration. If incorrect, you can change this by tapping on the Vehicle Configuration dropdown box. Conti360 Fleet Services 18

12. The schematic of the vehicle should appear. Tap on the tyre you wish to inspect first Conti360 Fleet Services 19

13. From here, you can start entering in the detail of the tyre. Because this vehicle hasn t been inspected before, the boxes will be blank. If the vehicle HAS BEEN INSPECTED BEFORE, the system will pull the data from the latest inspection so you don t have to enter it all in again. Conti360 Fleet Services 20

14. You can select the Tyre Size from the 1 st dropdown box if necessary Conti360 Fleet Services 21

15. You can select the Tyre Make from the 2 nd dropdown box Conti360 Fleet Services 22

16. You can select the Tyre Pattern from the 3 rd dropdown box. If the Tyre Make is NOT on Continental Tyre, then the pattern will just ask whether it is a Steer, Drive or Trailer tyre Conti360 Fleet Services 23

17. You can select the New/Remould buttons to indicate whether or not the tyre is a new tyre or a remould tyre. Conti360 Fleet Services 24

18. You can select the Tread Depth dropdown box to indicate the tread depth (mm) of the tyre. When you input the tread depth in the first box, this will populate the other 3 boxes with the same tread depth. You can then change any of the other 3 tread depths with a different reading if necessary Conti360 Fleet Services 25

19. You can select the Regrooved? buttons to indicate whether the tyre has been Regrooved, Not Regrooved or Partially Regrooved. Conti360 Fleet Services 26

20. If there are any defects, you can either select the Defects button or the Defect/Service Work tab. Conti360 Fleet Services 27

21. This will direct you to the defects page where you can select the necessary issue of the tyre. The app will automatically select the following defects for you: - Policy Limit if a tread depth is 3mm - Legal Limit if a tread depth is 2mm or below - Irregular Wear if the difference between two tread depths on the same tyre is 5mm or greater - Mismatch if the difference between two tyres paired together is 5mm of greater Conti360 Fleet Services 28

22. Any other defect that can t be determined automatically by the information provided, tap on the box to tick the necessary defect on the tyre. Conti360 Fleet Services 29

23. Once all the defects are selected, if any, you can return to the tyre information by tapping on the Tyre Info tab at the top of the screen. Conti360 Fleet Services 30

24. Once you are happy with all the information, you can either press the Backwards Arrow on the top left side of the screen or Next: (Tyre Position) to move straight on to the next tyre. Clicking the Next button will take you around the vehicle. Conti360 Fleet Services 31

25. (Continued) You can easily move back and forth from each tyre as you please until you reach the last tyre. Conti360 Fleet Services 32

26. Once you have repeated this process for each tyre, you can see that the tyres are now highlighted. The Green tyres indicate that there are no defects. The Orange tyres, however, indicate that there is a defect on the tyres. This will help when carrying out work on the vehicle (Please see Step 29 : Android Defect Report for further details). 27. Once you are happy with the inspection, press the Save button to complete the inspection. Conti360 Fleet Services 34

28. Once you save the inspection, you can go straight on to the next vehicle for the chosen contract. You can continue inspecting and repeat the same process with the other vehicles. If you have finished inspecting all the vehicles you wish to inspect, you can press the Finish button to go back to the main menu. Conti360 Fleet Services 35

29. Now that you have completed inspecting, return to the main menu where there is now a number next to the Vehicle Defects, Submit Data and Not Inspected This Month buttons. Conti360 Fleet Services 36

30. If you select the Vehicle Defects button, this shows you all the vehicles you have inspected thus far that have defects on. You can tap on the vehicle to see what defects there are. You can tick the boxes to say that you have corrected these defects and will show in the online reports. Conti360 Fleet Services 37

31. Once you are happy with all the inspections you have carried out and any defects you have ticked off, you can now tap the Submit Data button. This tells you how many vehicles you are about to submit, on which date you carried these out and which contract these vehicles belong to. This will also allow you to choose between batches of inspections you have carried out to either submit or remove. Tap the Submit button (recommend WiFi Connection) to send these inspections to the system. If you wish to delete the batch of inspections you ve carried out, if necessary, you can tap the Remove button to remove them off the device and NOT submit to the system. Conti360 Fleet Services 38

32. The app will start submitting data to the system. Once completed, it will automatically update itself with the latest fleet lists and inspection dates of vehicles. Conti360 Fleet Services 39

33. Once the app has submitted the data and updated itself, the inspection data will move from your device and into the ContiFI system. Conti360 Fleet Services 40

34. By tapping on the Not Inspected This Month function, you are able to check what vehicles are still left to inspect in the present month. This will allow inspectors to keep track of their fleet lists offline and contact the transport manager quicker to schedule a fleet check. The fleets can be broken down by contract and location, with the last inspection date detailed to determine how urgent the inspection is. Conti360 Fleet Services 41

35. Return to the main menu and the device is ready to inspect again. Conti360 Fleet Services 42

Website Processing To process a fleet inspection via website, follow these steps: 1. Go to the ContiFI website by typing www.contifi.co.uk into the website address bar 2. Log into the ContiFI website using the login provided by the system administrator. If you do not have one, contact Continental Head Office (01895 424 323) to create one. Conti360 Fleet Services 43

3. Click on the Inspect button to start processing fleet inspections. Step 1: Find Vehicle a. Select Customer (DHL, CO-OP, B&Q etc.) b. Lookup Registration (PO11XYW, T1049, TUG1 etc. c. Contract (automatic field: Sub contracts of customer) d. Last Inspection Date [Example. 09/10/2014(21 days ago)] e. Vehicle Configuration (8x4, 6x2, Tri Axle Single Fitment etc.) f. Inspection Date (Calendar Date) a. Select the main customer you are inspecting for. You will be able to only see the customers you inspect for. Conti360 Fleet Services 44

b. Use the Partial Search function to type in the registration you want to inspect. Once you select the vehicle you want to inspect, it will automatically fill out the rest of the boxes. In the example below, selecting vehicle registration YC63USZ shows that; it is Co-Op (no sub contracts involved), it has never been inspected, and it is a Single Axle Single Fitment configuration. Note: You are able to change the axle configuration if necessary Conti360 Fleet Services 45

c. Clicking on the box will open up a Calendar. Select a date in which the fleet inspections were carried out. d. When completed and you are happy with it, click Next to continue Conti360 Fleet Services 46

e. Click on the tyre you wish to inspect. All information from the previous inspection will already be present. Conti360 Fleet Services 47

Step 2: Enter Tyre Info & Tyre Defect/Service Work Note: If the vehicle was inspected before, all fields will be filled in with the data from the previous inspection a) Check/Input Tyre Size b) Check/Input Tyre Make c) Check/Input Tyre Pattern - If tyre pattern is not specified, select Other d) Input Tread Depths e) Select Tread depth - When you select the Tread Depth of Box 1, it will populated Tread Depth boxes 2, 3 and 4 - Any tread depth that is 3mm will automatically tick the Policy Limit defect - Any tread depth that is 2mm or below will automatically tick the Legal Limit defect f) New/Remould g) Regrooved? h) Pressure i) Serial No. Conti360 Fleet Services 48

a. Check the tyre size is correct. If incorrect, click on the dropdown box and select the correct tyre size. b. Select the Tyre Make shown on the tyre. If the tyre make isn t listed, please select Other Conti360 Fleet Services 49

c. Select the Tyre Pattern shown on the tyre. If the tyre make is not a Continental tyre, please select from Steer, Drive, Trailer. Conti360 Fleet Services 50

d. Select the Tread Depth of the tyre in box 1. This will populate the other boxes with the same Tread Depth reading. Conti360 Fleet Services 51

e. Select whether the tyre is a New or Remould tyre. Conti360 Fleet Services 52

f. Select whether the tyre has been Regrooved: Yes, No or Partial. Conti360 Fleet Services 53

g. If there are any Tyre, Pressure or Wheel defects, click on either the Add Tyre Defect/Service Work button or tab. Conti360 Fleet Services 54

Once you are happy with the information typed in, select the Save Position button on the bottom right corner Conti360 Fleet Services 56

i. The tyre is now highlighted to show that you ve processed that particular tyre. If the tyre is green, it indicates that the tyre has no defects. If the tyre is orange, the tyre has defects which will show up on your defect report later on j. Carry out the process for each of the tyre until the vehicle shows either Green or Orange tyres. When completed, click on Next to store the data and move on to the next inspection if applicable. Conti360 Fleet Services 57

k. You can choose between inspecting a vehicle for the same date using the same process here, or click Finish Inspection to complete the inspection. l. This will take you back to the main menu with a number now showing in the Submit button. Conti360 Fleet Services 58

m. This shows you what inspections you ve been processing through the web based system, when you inspected it, how many vehicles, and an inspection reference. Status - Submitted means the inspections have been archived into the database and available to see on the reports - Finished means you have completed the inspections (filled in all information on all tyres of all vehicles) and are ready to submit to the database. IMPORTANT: You must press the tick button to SUBMIT the inspections into the database - In Progress means you can exit the inspection process at any stage without losing data and come back to it later. You also have the option of deleting vehicle inspections as well Conti360 Fleet Services 59

4. Reporting Log on to www.contifi.co.uk to gain access to a range of inspection reports to help maximize inspection processes, reduce work time and manage assigned fleets. You are able to View, Print and Export all reports, as well as filter by Contract, Sub Contract, Location, Service Provider and Depot. Vehicle Inspection Schematic The vehicle schematics are accessible through the vehicle hyperlinks in any report. This shows the detail of the inspection carried out, including details of the vehicles past inspections. Conti360 Fleet Services 60

Vehicle Inspections This report shows the individual inspections that you have processed. You can also select a date range if you want to run the report for a certain period. Conti360 Fleet Services 61

Inspection Calendar This report shows you the inspections by date in a calendar format for the vehicles processed. This allows you to get an overview of the inspection capture rate of your fleet list throughout a rolling 12 months. You can click on the date if you wish to view the vehicles schematics and inspection data. Last Date of Inspection This report shows the last date that specific vehicle was inspected. Vehicles will appear in this report if they haven t been inspected within a 30, 45, 60 or 90 day period depending on your preference. This allows you to quickly see what vehicles you need to inspect as soon as possible to ensure the tyre is within the state agreed in the tyre policy. Conti360 Fleet Services 62

Data Log This report shows you the amount of fleet inspections you have carried out by contract. This allows you to invoice the correct amount of fleet inspections with ease to the Conti360 Head Office. Defects This report shows you the amount of fleet inspections you have carried out by contract. This allows you to invoice the correct amount of fleet inspections to Conti360 Head Office.
