PART 2 DEEL 2 Here is the first PART1- http://www.africanpredator.com/uf %20900%20PART%201%20JAKKAL S%20JAG%20LIG.pdf By reading these two parts you will benefit hugely and also not be bullshitted by people marketing things who claim unrealistic facts. JAKKALS JAG LIG Jackal Hunting Light

UF 900 A Another light from China I bought, another light manufactured by Brinyte in China called the UF 900A (another light the same light that s sold in the USA called a WICKED LIGHT, priced at $138-00) this light costs $29-00 in China from manufacturer. All the Americans do is buy in bulk and put another name on it, and mark it up in USA. This light is just about the same length as the other UF900, it s just a little longer by about a hair width! BUT the rear parts are all just about interchangeable. (READ MORE BELOW) Again the seller from a specific shop in USA selling his light at $138-00 in America tried to convince me his light isn t the same and gave me a lot of smoke and mirrors, bullshit baffles brains crap to save face on a local forum.

But everybody can see they are the exact same light. All purchased from the same place etc, from what planet is a person who thinks that some China factory is going to ONLY make a USA firm a special bezel or lens, or special bulb that fits in a mass produced item, only made for ONE company in USA.. Sure only an idiot will believe that, because these china factories go for bulk sales not singles. FACTS ON THE 900A (Wicked Light) The 900A in my opinion is ON par with the 900 in quality, not any difference in range at all. My wife walks out a target with a large black square on it, I tell her to stop, and she tells me the amount of footsteps she paced out for maximum range on that 900 ( 250 Kill Light) then she does the same with the 900A as she walks away from me with the 900A ( Wicked light). The difference in seeing the target to when you can no longer properly identify that black square is EXACTLY the same range, with a 10 power Mueller sport dot scope, one of the best optics you can buy for night hunting. The light it throws on red and green is on par with the other UF 900, and I can see no difference at all if compared in range and brightness.both lenses are highly polished and shine amazingly on both the models, when you look at them they look like R3000,00 torches, they don t look cheap at all. BOTTOM LINE The two lights the UF900 and UF900A is basically the same torch just a newer face like updated computers or facelift bakkies etc, the 900 can be bought for $23-00 in China and the 900A for $29-00 and you can buy both with chargers, batteries, pressures switches, red and green LED s, scope mounts etc and save a lot or pay $138-00 in the USA and buy the same torch with a Yank name on it, it s a pretty brain dead decision I can mail you a catalogue if you want to see torches etc. BUT VALUE FOR MONEY THE 900A IS A FAR BETTER OPTION SEE BELOW

If you want rifle extra brackets etc speak to Chris here, good guy and free shipping also! They have everything you need www.tactical4u.com here is a direct link to brackets for scope and torch http://www.tactical4u.com/en/category/35/index_home.html?javaid=3 5fb68dee9ff149f594e3fb00d513b0a HOWEVER HERE IS THE DIFFERENCE; THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE 900A A FAR BETTER BUY! READ! I wrote this on a forum, and see what I say about the reflectors etc, the 900A offers far better value for money. The report Here we go to compare apples to apples. Well, here goes, the Brinyte 900A ( Wicked Light) and the Brinyte 900 ( 250 Kill light) the rear parts are interchangeable, the one back fits the other etc as do the pressure switches, one fits both etc etc the finish and quality is the same ( very good) and it is only the shape of the torch that makes it look longer, they are the same length splitting hairs, the 900 has a thread like appearance at the front while the 900A has a plain look, the rear of the 900A is flared and the 900 is flat. But both take the same huge 3,7V battery. The LED s however are not the same, the 900A (WL) has a type of LED that has a thread inside and the bezel reflector housing screws into the led for a solid fit, the 900 ( 250 KL) is different and the LED sits on top of the mounting inside the torch and screws into the body, so one screws into the body and the other screws into the housing in the front. I must say I prefer the 900A design, and when you order an extra LED they supply you with totally complete front torch reflector housing and the colour LED of your choice. However if you order the 900 model ( 250 KL) all you get is an extra lose extra LED of your colour, and you must fit and mount it in, the 900A is a far better option and you get an extra reflector and the complete housing in the front and the LED, it is by far a better deal, and the price on the LED s for the 900 and the 900A are the same $8 each, so by buying the 900A you score far more in the deal getting a new shiny reflector and housing. SEE PHOTO BELOW

So because you are scoring a complete extra reflector, housing and led for $8 on a 900A ( WL) as apposed to a LED of $8 on its own and no extra housing or reflector with the 900 ( 250 KL) this sets them apart in a huge way for value. The 900 is $26 and the 900A is $29, but in my opinion so far the 900A is the winner. The pressure switches are all as can be expected interchangeable, and you have no problem here as well as the tail caps also fit each other. Diametre of torch is the same. Both 900 and 900A are highly polished reflectors, the same in quality. The 900A is nice to change reflectors and led s because all you do is turn the bezel in front at the top and loosen the fitting, take out the entire body, reflector and led all in one and turn in another colour that is fitted in another reflector housing, simple and fast, again better by far than that of the 900 ( 250 KL) that needs to be set in place etc. So far the 900A is winning without a doubt. NEXT THE LIGHT IT THROWS IN RANGE Ok, now this is the final and deciding factor this will soon be disclosed, I have been very sick and cannot get out, but the moon now is also getting big, so on the next dark night I will test the two lights next to each other, both with funnels both with a 10 power scope, I know I can shoot a predator dead and see it well enough to 140m with a funnel on and a 10 power scope on the 900 model on green led, so soon we will see if the 900A ( WL) is any better in range. The 900A ( WL) is winning so far, far better value for money, and buying the light direct from the manufacturer at $29 is far better than paying $138-00. A client from USA is coming around next week and he has a stamped light bought in the USA the Wicked Light, I will test that light range also, to see the range, then I can tell you one million percent if that is any different at all. With the 900A if you order extra LED s in other colours you get the housing and reflector also, making this a much better deal.

Beware some salespeople from America trying their hardest to convince you that the 900 ( 250 Kill Light) and the 900A ( Wicked Light) isnt the same light, trust me they will, but they buy the torches in China, and if you purchase over 50 units at one time they engrave any logo on the torch you want, so, it is made by the manufacturer in China called Brinyte and then when ordered in bulk they put the American logo on it and then its called lets say for instance PIXIE lights, then in America it costs $138 ++++ but it is a China torch just with the American name. Same as with the Pontoon bass boats, you buy them made in China but on order they print any logo on the boat you like for when it gets to South Africa... all marketing swaar... RANGE; THE important factor is, these lights although different models, both of them shine the same distance, they are the same torch at the end of the day, same light range, same parts and the same batteries, they are one in the same torch, so you can actually buy the 900 model at $26-00 and not bother using the 900A, as the 900A is the same in performance. But the 900A is a better deal. I took both torches, put up my standard cardboard box at 140m and with my 900 model( 250 kill light) I can just see the target, this is maximum range to shoot with this light using a foot long funnel over the light to throw the light forward and not over the scope, barrel and everything else. I then took it off and fitted the 900A ( Wicked Light) and at that range also, they are exactly on PAR, the one will give no better range than the other both at 140m with a funnel at MAXIMUM. Adverts claiming more are pure marketing tactics and you cannot claim it is false as they will simply say your eyes are not as good as the person originally testing them and la la la but realistically 140m is max range for either one, using 10 power top quality optics, on a pitch dark night with ZERO moon.

JUST FOR INTEREST SAKE You can purchase these bicycle mounts and gun mounts from LED LENSER, they are fast to mount the lights to your rifle, here are a few pics of both mounts; This is a LED LENSER SCOPE MOUNT; it is nice for a fast mounting system. Very quick to remove etc, one is enough, two are not needed at all, and this is on my 222 Rem rifle. UF900 and 900A (250 Kill Light and Wicked Light)

223 REMINGTON

You can get various styles of mounts to mount lights to a rifle barrel or scope; I have these LED Lenser models and also the bicycle light handlebar mount as seen on right.

MOUNTS The mounting brackets can be bought locally at an outdoor shop that is found in just about every town, easy to get and fast to put on the scope, I dont like weights on my barrel, so always try use a scope mount it is far better. This is the LED LENSER bycycle mount, it swivels and the 900 or 900A fits perfectly inside I personally prefer the one at the bottom. The mount on left is the nicest, they cost about R50-00 at the local shop in South Africa, you can see this mount on my rifle above in the article. So mounting the 900 or 900A is no problem, but if you order a package, you can buy a mount, pressure switch for on and off, battery, charger and extra colour LED s, its your choice. My choice is buy the 900A... it is by far better value for money. And to end, the range on a pitch dark night that you can identify and shoot a predator is 140m with a 10 power scope, perfect if you quad hunt!.
