Manifold Valves mar Manifold Valves use the high-pressure needle valve, with a non-rotating tip. Therefore, the galling of the tip in seat is eliminated. It solves the main leaking problem found in rotating tip valves. The Manifold Valves can be provided in Carbon teel, tainless teel, Hastelloy, Carbon teel*, Monel* and uper Duplex*, depending on the customer specification. Gaskets are provided in PTFE or Grafoil (optional), and bolts in Carbon teel or tainless teel. Also, they are available for vacuum services, NACE MR-01-75 applications and for oxygen use, which requires special cleaning conditions. All of the Manifold Valves have tracking codes graved in their housing in accordance with raw material certifications. These certifications comply with item 3.1.B of the EN10204 standard. Pressure tests are present in 100% of the production and they are in compliance with the API598 standard. mar Manifolds are produced under certified quality system in compliance with IO9000-2000 standard. It has two block valves (IOLATE) and one for equalization (EQUALIZE). In normal operation mode, block valves must be opened and the equalization valve remains closed. In order to perform the ZERO calibration, one of the block valves must be closed, and the EQUALIZE valve is opened, thus the pressure on both sides of the instrument becomes the same. To remove the valve from the instrument, the two IOLATE valves must remain closed. To assemble it back, these two IOLATE valves must be opened completely, and thereupon the equalization is closed to establish a pressure difference on the both sides. The principle of these valves is the same applied to the 3-way manifolds, except for two drain valves in bottom position. In normal operation mode, block valves are opened and both equalization and vent valves remains closed. In order to perform the ZERO calibration, one of the block valves and the vent valves must be closed. Then, the EQUALIZE valve is opened, thus the pressure on both sides of the instrument becomes the same. To purge the process or to generate pressure to calibrate the transmitter (by using a pressure generator), ducts can be installed in place of the six-sided bolts, and the valves are used to control the operation.
