The History of the MAN Group History 1986: M.A.N. merges with GHH, renamed MAN AG, based in Munich, Germany; individual business areas restructured by industry as public limited companies. 2018: The MAN Group is one of Europe s leading players in the engine, commercial vehicle, and mechanical engineering industries, with a revenue of 14.3 billion in 2017. As a supplier of trucks, buses, vans, diesel engines, turbomachinery, and special gear units, MAN employs around 54,300 people worldwide.
