Control valve BioStar control Construction The GEMÜ 567 BioStar control 2/2-way control valve is designed for use in sterile applications. Flow rates ranging from 80 l/h to 4,100 l/h are possible depending on the version. The sealing concept of the valve is based on the GEMÜ PD design. All metallic operator components are made of stainless steel. The valve is available with a manual or pneumatic operator. The pneumatic type is available with Normally closed, Normally open and Double acting control functions. Features Suitable for inert and corrosive liquid and gaseous media* Angle valve body available in various materials Various connections available CIP/SIP capable Autoclave capability Standard surface finishes 0.4 µm; others on request Linear and equal-percentage control characteristic options Valve spindle sealed by a PTFE diaphragm Fast leakage detection thanks to leak detection holes in the distance piece Version according to ATEX on request Advantages Hermetic separation between medium and operator Control of small quantities Installation for an optimised draining is possible Control air connectors rotatable 90 (pneumatic version) FDA compliant seal materials Extensive range of accessories Traceability of all media wetted parts Suitable for contact with foodstuffs as per (EC) Directive No. 1935/2004 * see information on working medium on page 4 Sectional view 567, P567
