General Specifications GS 22B01C52-01EN-A M-650, M-750 and M-651 3-Valve Manifolds for Differential Pressure INTRODUCTION The PGI 3-Valve manifolds are designed for mounting on differential pressure transmitters having 2-1/8" center-to-center connections. The M-650 directly mounts to the transmitter, replacing the process connectors by providing 1/2" NPT process connections. M-750 manifolds are also available and provide a flange face for the process connectors to be mounted. Three-valve manifolds are the most commonly used manifolds. The equalization valve allows the transmitter to be pressurized with line or vessel pressure before differential pressure is applied for flow measurement. The PM Series are specifically designed for the Power Industry to meet its specific pressure and temperature requirements. FEATURES Pipestand Mounting The optional mounting bracket allows the manifold to be mounted prior to the installation of the transmitter and easily removed when necessary. Stem Back-Out Prevention This eliminates stem blowout, or accidental removal while in operation. 5-Year Stem Seal Warranty The Teflon Pressure-Core Stem Seal design provides leak-free performance with no maintenance requirements. The Teflon shell offers the desired chemical resistance without periodic gland tightening as required with conventional designs. Non-Rotating Ball Seat Eliminates seat galling and ball creasing. Assures repetitive bubble tight leak-free sealing. Lower Torque High temperature applications requiring Grafoil stem packing are available in the new Low- Torque design. This unique stem seal requires 60% less torque to operate valves while providing the same pressure and temperature ratings. Integral Hard Back Seats Hard back seats protect against stem blowout and form a secondary seal. Rolled Stem Threads Unlike cut threads, rolled stem threads have more strength and longer life.
