Advantages of Using Screw Conveyors The trough screw is a screw conveyor principle that is used all over the world and has an excellent price/quality ratio. Screw conveyors have a wide variety of uses. The term low maintenance also applies to trough conveyors. There are angled variants from 0 to 90 degrees. With angles over 30 degrees, special covers are used to prevent the product flowing back.
