Transcription:

Progressive distributors SX-1 are distributor devices with hydraulic sequence control whose plungers of lubricant supplied are controlled such that the lubricant escapes forcibly and in sequence from the individual outlets. The distributor will block if there is trouble in the lubricant flow, such as e.g. clogging of the lubricant line or twisting of the bearing shell, within the distributor or in the lubricating line system. This blocking is used to monitor the distributors. With hand-operated pumps, such distributor blockage will present a nearly insurmountable backpressure. With automatic pumps such as the EP-1 electrical pump, the lubricant is sprayed off the pressure relief valve. Progressive distriburor SX-1 with three delivery elements and six outlets: The progressive distributors are manufactured in a variable plate design. This has the advantage that the distributor can be extended or shortened as desired depending on the number of lubricating points. Because of this plate design, it is also possible to assemble individual central elements (dosing elements) with different deliveries per plunger stroke to one overall progressive distributor. The different deliveries per plunger stroke are achieved by different plunger diameters. For perfect functioning, a progressive distribu-tor will need at least three plungers, i.e. at least three delivery dosing elements. Functional description In detail, the progressive distributors consist of an initial elementae (without a plunger), a central element ME and a final element EE (without a plunger) which are combined to form distributor blocks by means of tension rods with serrated lock washers and nuts. The individual elements are sealed by means of O-rings. Figure A The lubricant flows via the distributor inlet through all distributor plates to the plunger (I) (Fig. A). Plunger (I) is displaced to the left and the lubricant is pressed from the left surge cham-ber of the delivery plunger to outlet 1 (Fig. B). Subsequently, the dosing plungers (II) and (III) are progressively displaced and the lubricant is delivered to the outlets 2 and 3. After displacement of plunger (III), the lubricant is directed to the left side of the delivery plunger (I) (Fig. C) and from the right surge chamber of the delivery plunger to outlet 4. Figure B: Pressure chamber Subsequently, delivery plungers (II) and (III) are displaced and the lubricant is pressed to outlet 5 and 6. After the delivery plunger (III) has been displaced, the lubricant is routed back to the right side of the delivery plunger (Fig. A), and a new cycle of the progressive plunger distributor commences. The function thus described is repeated as long as necessary for the lubricant to be supplied to the progressive distributor. Figure C: 2

Assembly of outlets Combining the outlets of one distributor plate: For larger lubricating points, it may be necessary to combine two or more outlets on the progressive distributor. The individual plates of the progressive distributor have two outlets. When two outlets on the progressive distributor are combined, the two outlets of one plate are connected. To do this, the reversing sealing disk separating the two sides is turned around and a plugscrew with seal is screwed into the side to be closed. The delivery of the closed side will now come out on the other side, i.e. the delivery of the open side will be doubled. 2 outlets per distributor element (Standard design) Sealing disk clamping screw Reversing sealing disk simple 1 outlet per distributor element Plugscrew Reversing sealing disk turned over with seal simple Plugscrew, ref. no.: 090090800313 Seal, ref. no.: 090760303911 double Remove sealing disk clamping screw using a hexagon socket screw driver SW 6. Turn around reversing sealing screw. Screw in sealing disk clamping screw again. Should the total delivery of the outlets combined in one plate of the progressive distributor not be sufficient e.g. with very large bearing points or with main distributors, it will also be possible to combine the outlets of two or more distributor plates. To do this, two distributor plates will be connec-ted with one distributor bridge with or without an outlet. Depending on whether or in which element the reversing sealing disk will be turn-ed over, two, three or four outlets will thus be connected with each other. The delivery from the closed outlets will then leave from one out-let. The dosing volume is calculated from the delivery index of all combined plunger sides. To combine two outlets on different distributor plates by means of a distributor bridge with one outlet, the reversing sealing disks of the two distributor plates concerned are not turned around. The delivery rates of the two combined outlets are discharged together on the outlet of the distributor bridge. Assembly of outlets To combine three outlets by means of one distributor bridge with outlet, the reversing sealing disk is turned over on one of the two distributor plates concerned. The second outlet of this distributor plate must be closed with a plugscrew and a sealing ring (see page 38). The deliveries of both outlets of the distributor plate on which the reversing sealing disk was turned over, and the delivery of the outlet of the other distributor plate which was connected with the distributor bridge will come out together at the outlet of the distributor plate. If 4 outlets are to be connected with one pipe bridge with outlet, the two outlets opposite the distributor bridge must each be closed with a plugscrew with sealing ring (see page 38). The reversing sealing disks in both distributor plates must be turned over. The deliveries of the four outlets will then come out together at the outlet of the distributor bridge. 3 outlets combined by means of one distributor bridge with outlet: Plugscrew with sealing ring Reversing sealing disk turned over Reversing sealing disk Distributor plates drawn with a 90 turn 4 outlets combined by means of one distributor bridge with outlet: Plugscrew with sealing ring Reversing sealing disk turned over More than two outlets can also be connected by means of a distributor bridge without outlet. Accordingly, the reversing sealing disk in one of the distributor plates concerned must be turned over. The deliveries of the three connected outlets then come out together at the open outlet of the distributor plate on which the reversing sealing disk has been turned. Should 4 outlets be connected using a distributor plate without outlet, the reversing sealing disks on the two distributor plates must be turned. The outlet not being used, which is located opposite of the distributor bridge, must be closed with a plugscrew with sealing ring (refer to page 38). Then the delivery rates of the four outlets come out together at the remaining outlet opposite of the distribution bridge.
