Installation & Application Notes: Section I Physical Characteristics 1.1 LED Driver shall be installed inside an electrical enclosure 1.2 Wiring inside electrical enclosure shall comply with 600V/105 C rating or higher. Section II Performance 2.1 LED Driver has a rated lifetime of 50,000 hours @ TC <=75C. 2.2 LED Driver tolerates sustained open circuit and short circuit output conditions without damage. 2.3 LED Driver maximum allowable case temperature is 75 C see product label for measurement location. 2.4 LED Driver complies with the requirements of UL, CSA, FCC47 subpart 15. Section III - Conditions of Acceptability (File E321253) When installed in the end product, consideration shall be given to the following: 3.1 Primary wiring to be 18-AWG-Solid-Copper, 300V minimum, 105º C, and Stripped 3/8 in prior to inserting into terminal blocks. 3.2 The primary and secondary terminal blocks are R/C (XCFR2/8) suitable for field wiring. 3.3 The LED Driver is suitable for use in Dry and Damp Locations. 3.4 The temperature of the driver case at the (Tc) location specified on the marking label should not exceed 75ºC when the driver is installed in the end-use application. 3.5 The driver case must be connected to earth ground in the end-use application. 3.6 Enclosure considered a suitable electrical enclosure when Input and the Output connections side of the enclosure of the driver is provided with a suitable electrical enclosure in the end use product. 3.7 The leakage current test must be determined in the end-use product. However, the maximum measured enclosure leakage current from the driver case using Simpson model 228 leakage current meter were as follows: Model Test Voltage Measured Leakage, MIU XR060C100V080XPM1 120 V, 60 Hz 0.13 277 V, 60 hz 0.30 3.8 The maximum available output parameters from the (0-10 V) dimming circuit provided on LED driver met the limitations for Class 2 Inherently Limited per the UL1310 standard. 3.9 The output designated Fan Output is isolated and the maximum available parameters met the limits for LVLE circuit specified the UL8750 standard.
