From a speed of about 30 km/h upwards it cuts out automatically. If speed drops below 22 km/h it automatically cuts i agai. A lamp o the cetral display lights up to tell the driver that the frot-axle drive is activated. Whe you drive dowhill with the MAN HydroDrive egaged, the cotiuous brake also acts o the frot axle, thus stabilizig the vehicle. Ruggedly egieered I MAN HydroDrive a hydraulic pump is seated o the gearbox output shaft to feed the wheel hub motors o the frot axle. Whe it comes to fuel cosumptio ad wear ad tear, this igeiously simple, rugged ad maiteace-friedly techology is comparable to covetioal rear-wheel drive.
