ITEM 1 ROLLIGON CORPORATION MODEL TPT-2250 TRAILER MOUNTED FRACTURING UNIT 1.0 GENERAL This Rolligon Model TPT-2250 trailer mounted fracturing unit is a diesel powered high-pressure pumping unit designed for oil well stimulation jobs. This unit is designed for operation in harsh oilfield environments in a temperature range of 0 C to 48 C (32 F to 115 F). This unit is installed on a heavy duty oilfield single drop trailer. The approximate dimensions of this unit are as follows: Length : To Follow Width : 8 6 Height : 12 10 This unit shall be equipped with approximately 2250 BHP and shall be capable of producing up to 2000 HHP at the pump. This unit shall consist of the following basic components: - Customer supplied Tractor Chassis w/ fifth wheel and wet kit power unit for starter system - Heavy Duty Oilfield Single Drop Trailer - Diesel Engine - Transmission - Triplex Pump - Remote Control System Details of this equipment is as follows: 2.0 EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS 2.1 TRAILER This will be a heavy-duty drop deck trailer with the following features: - 8 6 width max. - Gooseneck deck height sized for 52 Kingpin height
- Drop deck height approximately 48 - Standard king pin setting with 18 set back - Spread axle air ride suspension - Two speed landing legs - Two (2) oil bath axles. Axles to have dual disc, ten (10) hole bud, steel wheels. - Firestone or equivalent tubeless tires 11.00R22.5 - Brakes air type with single ABS axle - Parking brake air chambers mounted above axles - Two (2 ) inch SAE king pin with 3/8 rub plate - Lights stop/turn/clearance - Fenders, front and rear - Mud flaps - Running lights for highway use - Conspicuity tape - 300 gallon fuel tank system installed with level sender, Crossover lines. Etc. - Rear bumper with tow eye 2.2 POWER SYSTEM 2.2.1 DIESEL ENGINE Installed on this unit shall be a Cummins QSK-45 turbo-charged diesel engine rated 2250 BHP at 1900 RPM (+/- 5%). This engine shall be the prime power source for this unit and shall be equipped as follows: - SAE 0 flywheel housing and flywheel for connection to transmission - Allison S9800 adaptation kit - Turbochargers - Fuel transfer pump - Fuel filters - Heavy duty dry type air cleaners with filter indicators - Heavy duty mufflers complete with stainless steel flexible mounting couplings
- Quantum fuel management system - Single hydraulic starter - Alternator, 24V - Engine rolling pre-lube system - Jacket water pump and thermostat - LTA coolant system - Crankcase breather - Spin-on engine oil filters - Oil pump - Dipstick and filler cap - Front trunion mount 2.2.2 TRANSMISSION Installed directly to the above diesel engine shall be a new Allison S9810M transmission with special splitter shaft. Details of this transmission are as follows: - Powershift transmission - Remote cooler circuit with circuit filter - Output flange - Output shaft brake - hydraulic - Gear Ratios as follows: 1 st 3.75:1 2 nd 2.69:1 3 rd 2.20:1 4 th 1.77:1 5 th 1.58:1 6 th 1.27:1 7 th 1.00:1 8 th Blocked - Single stage torque converter
- Multi-disc oil cooled spring release clutches 2.2.3 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM This unit shall include a complete hydraulic system for driving the radiator fan assembly. This system shall be driven by a closed loop pump system mounted on the trailer deck and driven from the front of the main engine via a flexible drive line assembly. Details of this hydraulic system are as follows: - Axial piston variable displacement hydraulic pump - Hydraulic motor to drive radiator fan - Hydraulic motor to drive starter - Hydraulic cooler installed in radiator package - Hydraulic reservoir complete with: Level indicator Internal baffles Internal strainer Breather cap and fill port Manway for reservoir cleaning - All necessary valves and hosing to complete the unit 2.2.4 DRIVE COMPONENTS The above engine/transmission combination shall directly drive the unit mounted down hole pump via a heavy duty driveline assembly. The driveline shall be installed at an angle no greater than the maximum recommended angle of installation as suggested by the manufacturer. The driveline installation shall include a driveline guard and grease zert access points for maintenance of the driveline yokes. 2.2.5 COOLING SYSTEM Installed on this unit shall be a horizontally mounted radiator and cooling assembly. This assembly shall include cooling circuits for all of the following: - Diesel engine coolant - Diesel engine charge air - Transmission oil - Triplex lube oil
- Hydraulic oil - Return fuel This cooling assembly shall be designed such that the maximum allowed temperatures for all of the above systems is not exceeded during any phase of operation. This system shall include a top mount overflow reservoir. Rapid fill and de-aeration piping will be installed Engine coolant piping shall be connected to the radiator assembly using heavy duty radiator hose sections to reduce transmission of vibrations to the radiator assembly. In addition, the radiator shall be installed on anti-vibration pads to reduce transmission of vibrations from the engine/transmission and pump assemblies through the unit frame to the cooling package. 2.3 PUMPING SYSTEM 2.3.1 DISCHARGE PUMP Installed on the rear of this unit shall be an Omega 2250 BHP triplex pump assembly. Details of this pump are as follows: - Fabricated steel power end assembly complete with 6.353:1 pump drive gear reducer - Steel valve over valve fluid end - 8 stroke - Single 2 Fig 1502 gauge connection - Pressure transducer rated 15,000 PSI installed on fluid end - Discharge manifold 3 Fig 1502 discharge connection facing the front & rear of the unit Discharge piping furnished by customer with installation and vibration mounts by Rolligon. - Suction manifold Steel 6 suction manifold w/ Victaulic groove connections Two (2) 4 Fig 206 valved union connections facing the rear of the unit angled to the ground for ease of connection The pump shall be equipped with hard coated plungers. Plunger size shall be determined based on customer s required performance.
2.3.2 HIGH PRESSURE PUMP LUBE SYSTEMS This unit shall include a power end lubrication system designed per the recommendations of the pump manufacturer. This system shall be driven by a lubrication pump installed on the transmission PTO lower drive and shall provide fluid whenever the engine is running. This lube system shall include the following: - Lube oil pump installed on transmission - Lube oil reservoir complete with the following: Level indicator Fill port Breather - Fluid filter Suction strainer Check Valve - System relief valve adjustable This unit shall also include a plunger lubrication system designed per the recommendations of the pump manufacturer. This system shall be electric driven from the unit and shall be designed such that the system is only engaged when the transmission is in gear. This plunger lube system shall include the following: Clear plastic grease reservoir High pressure manifold hoses Plunger check valves Plunger drip pan removable for cleaning
