Extensive variety of materials Everything you can think of. One wood is not just like another they vary widely. On the one hand there are naturally grown woods and on the other hand composites such as MDF, chipboard, multiplex each of them with different characteristics and requirements. Wood objects to be coated can be small or large, in parts or assembled, curved or flat, vertical or horizontal, with complex or simple shapes. The wood coating process Primers & Stains Staining is used to equalize the shade and color of the wood. With primers, the wood is protected against external influences. Base Coats / Sealers Base coats/sealers fill the wood pores, allow sanding, preserve color, and ensure good bonding of the top coat. Base coats can be applied in several layers. 3. Top Coats Top coats can be non-pigmented (clear coatings) or pigmented (paints). They provide the final look as well as excellent protection. The top coat can be matt or glossy and can also be applied in several layers.

Electrostatic wood coating process Solutions for electrostatic applications on wood. WAGNER electrostatic atomization systems are used to increase transfer efficiency and reduce application time in the coating process of window frames and shutters, rounded parts, chairs, tables, beds, sofa legs, fences and rattan furniture in general. Process features Due to the electrostatic charge, the paint particles repel each other to produce an extremely fine atomization which results in a very homogenous material application and high-quality finishing. These fine, negatively charged paint particles are attracted by the grounded workpiece, generating a wrap-around effect. While the front is being coated, the rear of the workpiece attracts the overspray, enabling enormous savings in material and time. Solutions for water-based paints For water-based paints, WAGNER has developed AquaCoat, a readyto-use insulated system that charges and applies water-based paint with manual or automatic guns at high and low pressure. Excellent safety standards, top performance and high operator comfort are its main features. Electrostatic technology can be applied to more advanced solutions such as automatic color change systems for mono-component paints or automatic systems with electronic dosing and mixing units. WAGNER also offers solutions for heating paint in electrostatic application systems either for solvent- or water-based materials. Solutions for solvent-based paints WAGNER manual and automatic electrostatic guns, bells and our wide range of controllers for manual and automatic applications are the ideal products for applying electrostatic charges to solventbased paints.
Feeding systems The right pump for every material & application. Clean and well-organized feeding stations with pumps mounted on modular frames, drum covers with agitators to keep paints ready to be used and protected, hermetic tanks and nitrogen feeding devices for preserving isocyanide catalysts. Remotely controlled fluid regulators to adjust and maintain a constant working pressure. Modular automatic paint-change valve systems to minimize changing time and waste. Special heating hoses and paint heaters to adjust and maintain a constant paint temperature in order to reduce dilution and solvent emissions while improving finishing and transfer efficiency.
