ADDENDUM NO. 1 January 11, 2018 Shuttle Bus Service RFP # H18-0002 1. This addendum revises RFP documents. This addendum is issued to respondents of record prior to execution of contract, and forms a part of contract documents and modifies previously issued documents. Insofar as previously issued contract documents are inconsistent with modifications indicated by this addendum, modifications indicated by this addendum shall govern. Where any part of the contract documents are modified by this addendum, all unaltered provisions shall remain in effect. 2. Can you confirm the proposal deadline? 8 Vehicles: In section 4.10, there are requests for ADA certification and drivers certifications for the State of Illinois 1. Regarding Illinois Safety and ADA certification, how would we convey this for vehicles not yet purchased? (4.9, 4.10) 2. Regarding drivers, are we able to use any out of state licensed (i.e. Wisconsin) drivers? (4.6, 4.10) Yes, but contract will remain contingent on satisfying requirements. Pricing should be as formatted in the spreadsheet which is attached to the RFP. The pricing proposal is a spreadsheet attached to the RFP file. Use that format. The due date is 1/18/18 Certifications must be received before service starts, and vendor selection is contingent. Up to contractor, must meet service requirements. 26 4.1 Routes When you ask for 2 shuttles from JTDC to Stroger, do you want to have 2 shuttles simultaneous? Or do you want less than a 15 minute wait during the rush hours listed? At minimum 2 shuttles operating simultaneously 27 Is it possible to receive ridership information by day of week and by month?. Route 3, Stroger to Provident, is two trips at 45 minutes each. This underutilized route takes a dedicated bus and driver resource and is expensive to operate based on the current requirement. Will CCHHS consider changes or adaptions to the other routes to run Route 3 more efficiently or delete the route completely and save the County money? The NOTE mentions the required equipment for the buses including first aid kits. Are the drivers required to be 1st aid and CPR certified? It s a shuttle that needs to run once a day in each direction. There might be some minor changes acceptable.
