Past Meets Present An Update by Gary Adams At Krispy Kreme Cruise-inThis 1950 Ford is a hot rod built in the late 50s by Albert Pardi, best friend of Jimmy Likis. Albert was a great mechanic and expertly transplanted a Chevrolet 265, V-8, Power Pack engine into the Ford. The car has a three-speed manual transmission with Smitty exhausts. The car was driven by Padri until the late seventies. Pardis nieces and nephews fondly remember many Sunday afternoon rides in Uncle Alberts s Ford. Seeing the Ford for the first time in many years in the photos below are Tony Pardi, Sal Pardi, and Bernice Moran. Also remembering those rides, but not pictured, are nephews Mike Likis and Sal Sicola. I think all named in this article are Dixie Vintage members with the exception of Bernice and Sal who are being actively recruited. 3

His first steps are replacing the complete front suspension and steering and then will start the body work.
