Hi Ho Mustangers 5/25/08 Well another show is in the books. 244 cars registered at the show. We did have 3 no shows in the 80 plus reregistered. The weather was a bit better than last year, no wind chill and I only needed one jacket. Vendors were down a bit this year. The Loin s Club sold out of burgers, hot dogs and brats. I have not gotten a count from them but, they think they did well. We had a great time at the Ice Breaker Brunch Run to The New Fox and Hounds. We were treated like kings by the owner who stopped by to saw hi and give all of us a history lesson on the place. After Brunch we were given the uses of the new lower level meeting room for as long as we wanted. Sweet deal!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Cathy and Jerry Lyon. We had the Solid Gold Mustang Night on May 7 th. Things got off on the wrong foot but, ended O.K. I do not think I will be going back to Solid Gold. Things have changed a lot in the last few years. I hope I am wrong. We have a number of outings coming up this month. The River Run, Miller Park, and more please check the calendar of events in the newsletter every month. I am happy to report that to my knowledge all Mustangers and families are well. That is all for now, more next month. Yours in Stangdom, Tom

The Wisconsin Early Mustangers From the Pres. (Retired, that is) May 21, 2008 Congratulations to all for a job well done. Our 26 th annual All Ford Show and Swap was a success. In spite of cooler weather, for the second year in a row, we had a great turnout. It was really nice to see how well we worked together. The silent auction, 50/50 raffle and fish bowls did more than their share of supporting the show. A special thanks to the folks ad Ewald s Venus Ford for their efforts. Please, remember them when shopping for cars, parts and service. Now we will be looking forward to spending a great summer with many of you. The Mississippi River run hosted by Dick and Barb Strack should be fun. Keep your eyes on the schedule for listings of many of the cruise nights. The annyal picnic at the Miller s is always a delight. Last, but not least, we will start taking Door County OTR reservations at the June meeting. Let s get those cars out and start using them. The worst fate a Mustang can endure is not being driven. The pleasure of driving those cars is second to none. Those of us driving the older ones can only marvel at the comfort and efficiency of the newer models. However, I don t think we will trade. Utopia is having one or more of each. If not, just enjoy and be proud of what you have. Some of us will be making the trip up to the Fox Valley s Les Stumpf Ford show. If you are interested, give me a call or e-mail. It will be on Sunday June 15 th. Our neighbors to the north always run a great show. Plus, they give us the chance to sell some of our t-shirts from this years show. Hopefully, they will have better luck with the weather. Don t think that I have forgotten about our seminars. It has just been one busy year. By fall we hope to be back in gear. We have to finish up on the OBD-1 EEC-IV that we we started a year ago. We will probably use the Falcon for practice. It thinks it is an 89 Mustang when you plug it in. I will be doing the deal on the ZDDPlus zinc/phosphate oil additive for the older motors. Drop me an e- mail or call if interested. This stuff will allow us to use the latest oils without fear of extreme wear to the cams and lifters. More info at the next meeting. Don t be strangers. Join the fun. Look forward to seeing you. Keep on stangin. Dick Doria
